Field Seats for Concerts at Stanford Stadium

• On the Field: Field seats put you directly in front of the stage for concerts, the closest and most immersive vantage point in the venue.
• GA Pit Option: Some concerts feature a General Admission (GA) pit near the stage for fans who prefer standing-room access closer to the action.
• Flat-Field Sightlines: The field is level, so views can occasionally be blocked by taller fans standing ahead of you.
• Video Screen Backup: Large video screens are typically set up so even angled seats toward the sides keep a clear view of the performance.

Who Should Sit Here

Field seats at Stanford Stadium are ideal for fans who want to be as close to the stage as possible and feed off the energy of a live concert. If proximity and atmosphere matter more to you than a fixed elevated sightline, this is the spot. The GA pit, when offered, suits those who like to stand and stay near the action.

Field Seating Details

The field is organized into sections to accommodate concert fans, with seats closer to the stage offering the most direct, immersive view. Certain shows also include a General Admission (GA) pit near the stage for standing-room access. Layout and section arrangement can vary from concert to concert.

Views from Field Seats

Field seating places you in the center of the excitement, with some of the best views of the performance. Because the field is flat, sightlines can occasionally be impacted by taller fans standing in front of you. Seats toward the sides may have a more angled perspective, but large video screens are typically positioned so every attendee can follow the show. Combined with the stadium's open-air design, it makes for an electric concert experience.

Good to Know

Field seats closer to the stage give you the most direct sightlines, so if you have a choice, aim for a section as near the front as possible to minimize any blocking from the flat-field layout. As an open-air venue, expect conditions to follow the weather, so dress for the forecast.
