Charlotte Hornets 200 Level Baseline Seating

Sitting Here for a Basketball Game

When going to a Hornets game on a budget, the only seats in your price range might be behind the basket on the 200 level. While these aren't the most desirable seats in the arena, there are a few choices you can make to maximize your experience.

First, if you're bringing kids to the game, do them (and yourself) a favor by sitting on the east side of the stadium in sections 215-219. These sections are close to the interactive fan zone where activities abound for fans of all ages. Even better, sections 216-218 are some of the smaller sections on the upper level. This makes it easier to get to and from the concourse.

If the fan zone doesn't interest you or tickets are unavailable, seats on the opposite end will become your cheapest alternative. Among these sections, first consider 202 and 232. Rows A-H in these sections have 8 or fewer seats so you're never too far from the aisle (sections 201 and 233 can have as many as 24 seats). These seats are also slightly less obstructed by the basket for clearer views of the court.  - RateYourSeats.com
