Alamodome Lower Level Sideline Seating

Sitting Here for a Basketball Game

The 2018 Final Four marks the first time that basketball will be played at the center of the Alamodome. With the court being placed in the middle of the stadium, sideline seating is being expanded to reach all the way down to the floor. These sections will be custom-built for the Final Four and will have more than 60 rows of seats.

The most desirable seats in these sections will be those located closest to the court. The first four rows in each section are labeled 1-4 and can be thought of as floor seating. Fans seated in these rows in sections 132-136 will be seated just behind the player benches.

Behind the floor rows are lettered rows ranging from A-Z and then AA-QQ. Numbered rows then pick up after those sections and go as high as 35. When choosing tickets in these rows, there will be a significant trade-off between a close view and convenience. Sitting in the single-letter rows will get you as close to the action as possible (which is a huge perk in a non-traditional basketball stadium), but you will have long walks to the concourse and its amenities. The reverse is then true for fans sitting in numbered rows.

Overall, we recommend sitting in one of the sections closer to center court, even if it means sitting in a higher row. You'll get one of the better unobstructed views of the game from near center court and if you are in a high row, you'll be paying less for your ticket and enjoy the convenience of being near restrooms and concessions.
