RYS Expert Reviews

Upper Level Corner (Hockey)

- While further from the action than most seats, the Upper Level Corner sections can be a good place to find value views for hockey games at SAP Center. The corner angles allow you to appreciate all the action on the ice from goal to goal rushes, to pinpoint cross ice passes. Sharks fans are best suited to be in Sections 203-206 and 210-213 where they can be closest to the net where the Sharks shoot in both the 1st and 3rd periods. Sections here have up to 17 numbered rows of seating, with entry tunnels near the front. Standing room only areas can be found just above upper level sections 224 and 225 at the south east corner of the arena.

Upper Level Side (Concert)

- The side sections on the upper tier of the SAP Center are a great place to find cheap tickets for an end stage show, without having to surrender to a terrible view. Sections 216 and 228 are where you will want to be, as these keep you closer to the stage without a complete side angle view. And while they might seem closer to the action, it is difficult to recommend sitting in sections 217 or 227 due to the far from ideal viewing angles. But if you must, be sure to opt for the lower numbered seats of section 217, or the higher numbered seats of section 227. Most sections on the upper level side have 17 numbered rows of seating, with entry tunnels located near the very front of the section.

Seating Notes

For most hockey hockey games, these seats are located on the end where the visitors shoot twice

Obstructed view — There are hand-railings in front of these seats and they significantly obstruct the view of the game.
