Features & Amenities
The floor at the SAP Center generally consists of 3 seating sections during a traditional end stage performance. All three sections extend as close as it gets (right up against the stage), but while floor sections 1 and 3 go as far back as the tail portion of the floor, section 2 is usually smaller due a mixing booth located in the last few rows.
Best Floor Seats
For the best overall floor experience at a traditional end stage show, it will be difficult to find anything better than the front of floor section 2 thanks to the excellent alignment with the center of the performance. The section typically has 14 seats in most rows, leaving the most central views for fans in seats 7-8.
In the traditional end stage configuration, there is an aisle break located between rows 25 and 29 which almost divides the sections into separate seating areas. If you can find a seat in row 29 of floor section 2, you will be in excellent shape thanks to central views and the convenience of having the aisle near your seat.
Concert Floor Setups
Not all shows will be setup in the conventional end stage layout at SAP Center, so we recommend researching the specific seating chart for your show before purchasing tickets. For a handful of shows, the floor can even be configured in a single general admission section, where spots are standing room only and filled up on a first come first serve basis.

Close enough to see facial expressions
Seats were on left side of the center floor section. Close enough to stage to feel part of the action. Needed to sit upright to see over some heads.
If I had the chance again, I would try for seat 1 (aisle) in Floor Section 1 on any row up to 20. Would have been a better uninterrupted view of the stage as you look down the aisle.
Great View! Very Close. Performers Can See You! Aisle seats would have been amazing! NKOTB go into crowd and walk along aisles often throughout the show. Great seats but ours were in the middle of the row so we didn't get any of that action. Also two tall guys in 2nd row kept obstructing my view. NKOTB, 98 degrees, and Boyz II Men put on a fantastic swoon-worthy show!
Bryan Adams - Jan 26, 2024 Good seats - views were pretty much unobstructed- complaint about floor seating is too tight not enough room to sit or stand comfortably without hitting your neighbor! Worse than airplane seats!
Nate Bargatze - Apr 12, 2024 Could not see the performance on stage. Had to look up high to video screen. Sound at venue was loud and distorted. Entire audience was complaining during the show.
Our seats were awesome! Great view of the stage, and when the performer walks down the runway part of the stage you have an amazing view!

Seating and Ticket Q&A
Where are the best seats for a concert in the HP Pavillion (SAP Center)?
Consider Center Floor or Lower Level Side
Some of the best seats at the HP Pavilion for the January 31st Eagles Concert will be located in Floor Section 2, and Sections 101, 115, 116 and 128 in the main seating bowl.
Floor Seating
Floor section 2 will provide the closest head on views of any seating option at the arena, and will be some of the most exciting seats for the Eagles end stage setup. However floor sections will consist of folding chairs setup on the arena floor, and therefore will not have any elevation change between rows. This will increase the potential for your view being obstructed by taller fans sitting/standing in front of you.
Being Close to the Stage With a Little Elevation

Sections 101 and 115 are recommended in the main seating bowl as they will keep you close to the stage, while still provided good views to the center of the action (some seats in sections 128 and 116 may provide extreme side angle views). We recommend the lower rows of sections 101, 115, 116 and 128 if you prefer a more traditional seating option that features increased elevation between rows for better viewing height over the fans in front of you.
