Students from Northwestern have sections 111-112 designated for them.
Less than 10% of seats at Ryan Field offer some type of shade or cover. Below is a sample of seats that are at least partially covered or shaded at different times of the day. To search for tickets or to find out if your seats are protected from the sun or rain, follow the link for the seat finder.
Corner seating on the lower level is where you will find both student as well as visitor designated seating at Ryan Field. Northwestern students will occupy the south east corner (Sections 111-113), while the north west corner is where you'll find the visiting team seating in Sections 134-136.
While smaller than any of the lower sideline options, some corner sections can still have up to 60 rows of seating. Most sections begin with Row 1 at the front, although seating in Sections 122 and 136 don't begin until Row 18. Seating is often not available in corner sections 101-102, and gets covered with a Northwestern tarp when unavailable.
The upper level at Ryan Field is made up of the smallest seating sections in the stadium. Each 200 level section has 20 or fewer rows of seats that run endzone to endzone on the west side of the field.
Rows 8 and higher in sections 228-230 are among the best seats in all of Ryan Field. These seats are also covered from above by the Press Box, are protected by a windscreen and have radiant heat running during cold games. They're also located at midfield, which gives them a great unobstructed view of the field.
Visiting team seating can also be found in the Upper Level, located in Sections 234 and 235.
