Mid Field (Football)

- Located closest to the 50 yard line on each side of the stadium, the Mid Field location is comprised of sections 4, 5, 18, and 19 and offer the best views of the game from the main seating bowl. Being directly behind the team benches and right at midfield makes these seats some of the most sought after at the Rose Bowl. And while the views are excellent here, fans will want to keep an eye on their seating row as the Sections are extremely large. Great views and shorter walks will be found between Rows 15-35 as the entry tunnel is located at Row 25. Fans sitting at the top (Row 77) should be prepared for lengthy walk to reach their seats. An aisle down the middle of each section creates a left and right half, which are commonly refereed to as the High (H) and Low (L) part of the section. As you face the field, the Low (i.e. 4-L) part is located just left of the aisle starting with Seat 1, while the High (i.e. 4-H) part is located just to the right of the aisle starting with Seat 101. Sections at mid field start with Rows B-A at the front (Row B being closest to the field), followed by the numbered rows above.

What's a good section to view the game?

The best views for a football game at Rose Bowl Stadium will be in midfield Sections 4-5, and 18-19. Located close to the 50 yard line, you will have excellent views of both ends of the field with a traditional sideline view.

We recommend looking for seats in Rows 20 through 40 as these will give you a good viewing height over the sidelines, and are located close to the section entry tunnels just below Row 29.

Is section 3 or 4 better for concerts at the Rose Bowl?

For a traditional end stage concert at the Rose Bowl, we recommend seats in Section 4 over those in Section 3. The stage typically run across the field from Section 2 to Section 21, leaving the seats in Section 3 closer to the stage, but with a more difficult viewing angle to the front of the performers. Seats in Section 4 are set a bit further back from the stage, providing a better seating angle that will allow better sight to the front of the performance at the main end stage.

Which seats are better for a concert at the Rose Bowl?

I would choose the tickets in Section 4 Row 41. Section 20 is nearly behind the stage and the angle of the seats direct you toward the middle of the field so you will not be able to look straight ahead to see the stage. There also could be potential viewing obstructions in your way on the side of the stage that would make it very hard to see. Section 4 has a similar angle but it not as far behind the stage so you will have a good view and you will not have to turn to see the stage.

Even though Row 41 in Section 4 is higher up and farther from the stage than Section 20 Row 33, the better angle and perspective make Section 4 more desirable.
