Rice Sideline - The Rice sideline is in front of Section 103, Section 104 and Section 105
Visitor Sideline - The visiting team sideline is in front of Section 112, Section 113 and Section 114
With sideline views and placement on the lower seating tier, these sideline sections offer some of the best views of a football game at Rice Stadium. Sections 103-105 and 112-114 provide the best perspective near the 50 yard line, and as these seats are also directly behind the team sidelines, tickets here are often in the highest demand.
On the east sideline, Sections 101-107 will have 44 numbered rows of seating in each, with comfortable chairback seating providing a premium option in Rows 33 and higher. One downfall is that the seats on this side of the field will see more sun during an afternoon game.
Sections are slightly larger on the west sideline, where Sections 110-116 feature up to 48 rows of seating. Fans can find chairback seating in Rows 43 and higher in Sections 112-114, as well as some parts of Sections 111 and 115. The Rice students and university band occupy Sections 114-116, providing a loud and more energetic atmosphere in the seats nearby.
While most 200 level seating is General Admission, sections on the east sideline will have reserved options in the first two rows of Sections 204-210. These seats are best for fans that want to find a cheaper ticket, but don't want to deal with getting to the game early to find the best spots in the General Admission areas of the second seating tier.
