RYS Expert Reviews

Outfield Reserved

(2026 Review) - Outfield Chairback Seating: Unlike the nearby bleachers, Outfield Reserved sections feature traditional stadium seats with backs for a more comfortable experience.    Bullpen Views: Seats near sections 157-158 overlook the White Sox bullpen, while sections 104-105 sit near the visitor bullpen.    Home Run Territory: These sections sit in prime areas for catching home run balls.    Sunny Seating Area: Sections in left field receive some of the most sun exposure in the ballpark during afternoon games.    Great Concourse Access: Easy access to the outfield concourse with unique attractions and beer stands.    Who Should Sit Here  Outfield Reserved seats are ideal for fans looking for cheap lower level tickets while still enjoying the atmosphere of sitting close to the field. These sections are especially appealing for fans hoping to watch pitchers warming up in the bullpen or those looking for a good chance at catching a home run ball.  Outfield Reserved Location &  Sections  Outfield Reserved seating includes sections 157-159 in left field and sections 100-105 in right field.  Sections 157-159 sit in left field directly above the White Sox bullpen.    Sections 104-105 are located near the visitor bullpen in right field.    These seats also offer quick access to the 100 Level outfield concourse, which includes popular features like the center-field shower and several well-stocked beer stands located in both left and right field.  Seating Type  Outfield Reserved sections feature traditional stadium-style chairback seats, providing a more comfortable experience than the nearby Bleachers. Unlike the bleachers in left-center field, which use long bench-style seating, these sections offer individual seats with backs and defined seat numbers, giving fans an assigned spot and a more typical ballpark seating experience.  Outfield Reserved Views  Outfield Reserved seats provide a unique perspective of the game from beyond the outfield walls. The view toward home plate from these sections is fairly distant, making them less ideal for fans who want to closely track pitches and watch the ball-strike battle between the pitcher and batter.  Fans sitting in sections 157-158 will have a great view of the White Sox bullpen activity, while sections 104-105 offer a similar vantage point of the visiting team's warmups.  Because these seats are located in some of the best home run areas in the stadium, fans here have a solid chance of catching a ball:  Section 159 is a great spot for right-handed pull hitters    Section 103 is a strong location for left-handed pull hitters    One important note for afternoon games: sections 157-159 receive some of the most direct sunlight in the stadium, so fans in these seats should plan accordingly on hot summer days.  Cheaper Outfield Option  For fans looking for an even more affordable outfield experience, consider the Bleachers in left-center field (160-164). These seats typically offer some of the lowest ticket prices at a White Sox game, though they feature bench-style seating instead of traditional stadium chairs.

Fan Reviews

Better than expected I took these seats in hopes the White Sox would actually improve the next few years. That will remain to be seen. Uhh.. Anyway with the number of people actually attending games with season tickets I've had a package long enough that front row was an option. These seats will not blind you with the sun like 157-159 will. I've been there needed to move. These seats aren't the cheapest in the lower level either. Row 1 you can get a clear idea if the ball is going out of the park. You can still get a good view of what's going on at the plate even if you are in the outfield. There is probably a 3 foot gap from the fence to your seat where you can look down on the patio. A previous comment had me concerned of poor language in the area because of the patio. I completely disagree. Even with the number of fans in the stands, not many, you could not hear anything from the patio and it's no different than any other location that I've sat in. I have two children whom don't always pay complete attention to the game. I would suggest making sure you do in this area as home runs do come in this area. The bathrooms are just up the steps with easy access. Food is convenient. The kids zone is a little further walk than what I previously had but still easy to do and a nice place to escape to when the play on the field is awful. I was a little saddened because you can't see the whole giant screen and if the scoreboards aren't working on the ticker you don't know the score if you missed something but for row 1, I'll look on my phone if I missed something. If you get there late because of the massive amounts of fans getting in the game you are close to the gate. I would highly recommend these seats but don't steal mine.

Is there any protection from balls in Section 103?

    Verified by an RYS expert

Section 103 is an outfield section that does receive its share of home run balls. Having said that, it's likely that other fans will get their hands on a home run ball far before it has a chance to get to you or your toddler. Furthermore, very few balls are hit far enough to reach past Row 20. So if you are sitting in a higher row, there are few safety concerns.

Perhaps of greater concern is being in one of the outfield sections for a Friday night game. Section 103 is connected to the outfield concourse which attracts a heavy-drinking crowd for weekend night games. Your child is far more likely to come home with a new vocabulary than a bruise from a baseball.

Is there handicap access in Section 103 at U.S. Cellular Field?

    Verified by an RYS expert

Handicap accessible seating is available at the very top of Section 103 in Row WCH (just above Row 28). To request handicap accessible tickets, you can contact the White Sox Guest Services department at 312-674-5246.
