Who Should Sit Here

The Supporters Section is designed specifically for "rabid" Austin FC fans who intend to participate in the match through chanting, singing, and flag-waving for the full 90 minutes.

It is not recommended for families with small children, fans who prefer to sit, or those who want a quiet, analytical view of the game. If you are not prepared to be on your feet and potentially have your view briefly obscured by flags or "beer showers" after a goal, you should look for seating in the sideline 100-level sections.

Supporter Section Location

Located at the South end of Q2 Stadium, Sections 101 through 105 form a single, continuous tier of "safe-standing" space. Unlike the rest of the venue, this area operates as a General Admission (GA) zone during Austin FC matches.

While your ticket may list a specific row or seat number for stadium tracking purposes, these are ignored on matchday. Fans occupy the space on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure a spot in the first few rows near the pitch or directly behind the goal, you should aim to enter the stadium as soon as gates open (typically 90 minutes before kickoff).

Field View & Perspective

The view from the Supporters Section provides a "North-South" perspective, sitting directly behind the southern goal.

• The Goal-Line View: This is the best place in the stadium to witness attacking plays, corner kicks, and goals scored at the South end.

• Depth Perception: Seeing the action at the far (North) end of the pitch can be challenging. You will likely rely on the massive videoboards for details on plays occurring in the opposite penalty box.

Before You Buy: What to Expect

This is the most unique environment in Q2 Stadium, and there are a few "unwritten rules" to keep in mind:

• Opposing Colors: Wearing the jersey or colors of the visiting team in Sections 101–105 is strictly prohibited and will likely result in a request to relocate.

• The "Beer Shower": It is a tradition in Austin for fans in the GA section to toss their drinks into the air following an Austin FC goal. If you sit here, expect to get wet.
