RYS Expert Reviews

100 Level Attack Corners (Hockey)

- Corner seating on the lower level offers great views for the experienced hockey fan, as it combines both the goal to goal action with the cross ice movement and passing. The views are much less traditional than what you typically see in a TV broadcast, but allow you to really appreciate the speed and complexity of the game. Pens fans will want to find themselves in either Sections 104-105 or 109-110 where you'll be closest to the net where the Penguins attack during both the 1st and 3rd periods. Sections have up to 24 lettered rows of seating, with Row A being closest to the glass. For the shortest walks to and from the seats and best seating height for following the action, we recommend opting for seats near the top of the sections.

Lower Level Corner (Basketball)

- While corner seats are an inexpensive way to sit on the lower level, these seats have some serious flaws for basketball games. In particular, the angle towards the court in Sections 104, 110, 115 and 121 is terrible. These seats are setup for hockey where the important action extends down into these corners. But for basketball, you want to be angled more towards center court. When seated in the lower rows of the afore-mentioned sections, you'll have to turn your head to see the action.

Seating Notes

  • For most hockey hockey games, these seats are located on the end where the visitors shoot twice

For Concerts, Section 120 May Have a Limited View

120 is behind the stage or to the side of the stage for most concerts. This may restrict or limit your view of the performance.

Section 120 is in the southwest corner of the arena. Within this section, rows are labeled A-Z and then AA-EE. So in row Z you will be about 25 rows from the ice. The corner location, along with a little bit of elevation will provide you a great view of the ice.
