Dugout Box

(2026 Review) - Close to the Dugouts: Dugout Box seats are located on the lowest tier behind both dugouts, putting fans close to the players and on-field action.    Strong Infield Views: Sections sit along the infield with excellent sightlines toward home plate and the bases.    Premier Dugout Rows: Row D is the first row behind the dugouts, often sold as Dugout Box Premier seating.    Sun Considerations: Fans looking for earlier shade should consider the third base side of the field.    Who Should Sit Here  Dugout Box seats are ideal for fans who want to sit close to the players and dugouts without paying for premium club seating. These seats are especially popular with fans who enjoy watching player interactions, warmups, and coaching conversations during the game.  They’re also a great choice for fans who want field-level proximity while still maintaining excellent views of the entire infield.  Dugout Box Location & Details  Dugout Box seating is located along the lowest level of Nationals Park behind both team dugouts.  Sections on the third base side (114–118) sit near the visiting team dugout, while sections on the first base side (127–131) sit near the Nationals dugout.  These sections extend over 35 rows up from the field. The rows closest to the dugout provide the closest proximity to players, while seats higher in the section still maintain strong infield views with slightly more elevation.  Fans looking to minimize sun exposure during day games may want to consider the third base side, which typically reaches shade earlier than the first base side.  Dugout Box Views  Views from Dugout Box seats are some of the closest in the stadium without being directly behind home plate.  Fans sitting in the lower rows will be just steps from the dugout, providing a unique look at players entering and exiting the field. The proximity also allows fans to clearly hear on-field communication and coaching interactions throughout the game.  Seats further back in the section provide slightly more elevation, which some fans prefer for tracking pitches and seeing the entire infield.  Dugout Box Premier  Fans looking to sit directly behind the dugouts should look for Dugout Box Premier tickets.  The dugout itself occupies the first few rows of seating, making Row D the first row located directly behind the dugout.  Key sections include:  Sections 128–129 directly behind the Nationals dugout (first base side)    Sections 116–118 directly behind the visiting team dugout (third base side)    These seats are especially desirable for fans hoping to be as close as possible to players during the game.  Infield Box Seats  The upper rows of these sections are often referred to as Infield Box seats.  While these seats sit slightly farther from the field than the rows closest to the dugout, they still provide excellent infield sightlines with a little more elevation.  Fans who prefer a broader perspective of the field while staying in a prime infield location may find these seats to be a strong option.
