Best Seats For a Concert at Moda Center
The most common seating layout at Moda Center for concerts is an end-stage setup with the stage located near sections Section 204, Section 205 and Section 206. For many concerts there are also slight variations to the layout, which may include General Admission seats, fan pits and B-stages.
On the Floor: Floor is Floor Seats, which offer some of the closest views of the performers. For many concerts, floor sections are added or removed. These performer-specific adjustments may alter the floor layout and the views from each floor section.
To the Side of the Stage: For close views of the stage with a little bit of elevation, consider seats to the side of the stage in Section 101, Section 102 and Section 111. The view is not head-on like on the floor, but many of the seats are closer to the stage, provide better elevation and are actual stadium seats.
Head-on to the Stage: Seats directly across from the stage, like those in Section 106, Section 107, Section 116 and Section 117 provide the most comfortable looks of the performance.
Even upper level sections offer unobstructed sitelines. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to see as much detail from these seats as you would if you sat closer to the stage.
Consider the Following When Buying Concert Tickets
Seats behind the stage are occassionally sold: Unless your main objective is to just get in the building, you'll want to completely avoid anything behind the stage - like those in/near or above sections Section 204, Section 205, Section 206 and Section 207. It's unlikely the performer will turn around to salute you - and you're more likely to be completely blocked out from seeing the show.
If you're on the shorter side (or bringing kids), consider floor seats only in the first few rows: The most common complaint amongst floor ticketholders is that they can't see the stage because of taller people in front of them. As an alternative, consider side sections near the stage that will still have you close and high enough to see.
Lower level side sections are not created equal: While the side sections closest to the stage are top-notch, side sections farther from the stage may leave you with a cramp in your neck. Sections 218 and 229 are not well-angled towards the stage - leaving you to turn your head for an ideal view. Instead, consider head-on sections in the lower level or even close side seats in the upper level like 302 and 317.
Floor Seats - Floor seats are an excellent option for concerts for fans who want to be close to the stage and in the middle of the energy of the show. Seats will be...

The Suite Level wraps around the entire arena at the Moda Center. Please read the seller notes in the ticket listing and on the checkout page to determine where exactly your suite is and if you are purchasing tickets for an entire suite or a single ticket within a suite.
100 Level Baseline (Basketball) Seating
Baseline seating in the lower level is made up of sections 105-108 on the north end and 116-119 on the south end. Both sides offer similar experiences with the exception of 118 and 119 where you have the opportunity to see the Blazers players up close.
Rows closest to the court are double-lettered (ex: DD) and should be mostly avoided. If you're not seated in one of the first two rows, opt for something with a little more elevation and better views of both ends of the court.
The best overall experiences in these seats are in higher rows of sections 105, 108, 116 and 119. While you would ideally like to be closer to the court, you can see more of it from the higher rows and you'll be just a few steps away from concourse amenities. Finally, these sections aren't as affected by the baskets getting in the way of your view.
100 Level Center (Basketball) Seating
The best seats at a Blazers game are located in lower level sections along each sideline. All seats in these sections are within 25 rows of the court and offer supreme views of the action on the court.
Sections 101 and 112 are the most popular of these sections due to their location at center court. To the right of 101 is section 122 which is directly behind the Blazers bench.
If club tickets close to the court are out of your budget, we recommend the elevated views from near Row P in each of these sections. The height of these seats and location along the sideline combine to form great views of both sides of the court. As an added bonus, the concourse is located at Row P. This will limit the number of stairs you have to walk each time you enter and exit your seats.
100 Level Corner (Basketball) Seating
Corner sections on the lower level at the Moda Center offer wildly different experiences for a Blazers game. Fans looking at tickets in this seating zone are typically looking to sit in a 100 level section on a budget. If this is you, be sure to choose the right section to make the most out of your money.
While sections 103, 110, 114 and 121 seem like decent places to sit, these sections should be strictly avoided. Instead of facing center court like other corner sections, these seats face behind the basket and will force you to turn your body and neck to see the action on the court. For an unpopular game with empty seats, this may not be much of an issue. But for a sold-out or Saturday night game when the arena is packed, this leads to an incredibly uncomfortable experience.
On the other end of the spectrum, sections 104, 109, 115 and 120 may some of the best corner sections in the NBA. The angle towards center court is not perfect, but it is much better than in the adjacent corner sections. Instead, it's the accessibility of these seats that make them great. All seats are within eight rows of the concourse so there are barely any stairs to traverse as you're juggling a plate of nachos and two beers. Additionally, most rows in these sections have just five or fewer seats. This makes getting in and out much easier than in other sections where you can find as many as 24 seats and have to walk past 12 strangers while doing your balancing act.
200 Level End (Basketball) Seating
While the club seats dominates most of the attention on the 200 level, there are some non-club sections worth considering when purchasing Blazers tickets. In particular, sections 205, 212, 220 and 227 are perfect for the fan who likes sitting in an end seat. These are some of the narrowest sections in the arena so you're never more than four seats from the aisle. These seats also offer the best sightlines among 200 level seats that are not part of the club.
Fans considering tickets in one of the sections behind the basket should think twice before hitting the buy button. Sections 208, 209, 223 and 224 are directly behind the hoop and will have their sightlines obstructed by the basket. To alleviate this issue, choose a higher row in one of these sections or a section closer to the corner of the arena. Better yet, consider 300 level seats near center court where the basket never comes into play and you can see both sides equitably.
For those looking to avoid stairs, consider seats near row A where the section tunnels are located.
300 Level Baseline (Basketball) Seating
Behind the baskets on the highest level of seating is the 300 Level Baseline seating location. This location is home to some of the most affordable seats in the stadium. The views are not particularly good because they are far away from the action and the opposite end of the court can be difficult to see at times.
Seats near the front of these sections are much better than those near the back, but none of them are among the best in the stadium. This location is best for fans who are on a budget and do not want to break the bank to see a basketball game at the Moda Center. The sections in this location have 18 lettered rows.
300 Level Center (Basketball) Seating
Some of the best seats for a Blazers game are found in the sections closest to mid-court in the 300 level. These seats offer an unobstructed view of the action with enough elevation to see both sides comfortably.
For the best overall views, choose seats in one of the lower rows where you'll have nearly the same view as ticketholders on the suite level. Fans seated in row C will have the added bonus of being at the section tunnel for instant access to the concourse.
If the lower rows are unavailable or out of your budget, it is OK to consider tickets in a higher row. Rows H-P are considered the higher rows where the staircase tightens and fans with mobility issues might start to become uncomfortable. If you don't mind walking up and down the stairs, you'll find that they're not as steep as in most venues and the views from the tops of these sections are actually quite good.
300 Level Corner (Basketball) Seating
When considering the budget seats on the 300 level of the Moda Center, start your search in the corner sections. Only seats behind the basket have a lower ticket price - and the views from these sections are far superior.
With the exception of the northeast side, all corner sections feature rows A-R with row A at the front of the section. We recommend stretching your budget as far as possible to secure seats in one of the first seven rows (A-G) for the best overall experience. There you'll find decent views, fewer stairs to climb and fewer seats per row in rows C-G.
Suites (Basketball) Seating
The Suite Level wraps around the entire arena at the Moda Center. Please read the seller notes in the ticket listing and on the checkout page to determine where exactly your suite is and if you are purchasing tickets for an entire suite or a single ticket within a suite.
What time does the Moda Center open for Blazers games?
The doors to the Moda Center (formerly known as the Rose Garden) will open 1 hour prior to the start of the game, so for the February 23rd game against the Timberwolves, you can get in as early as 5:00pm.
Fans are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes before tip-off to allow for enough time to get through security, grab concessions and find their seats.
How early can we enter the center before a Blazers game?
For weekday Blazers games, doors to the Moda Center open at 5:30 for ticketholders seated in non-suites. This gives fans ample time to explore the arena and watch the players warm up. Access to the lower level may be restricted if you do not have a 100 level ticket. But if you are able to make it down there, visiting team fans should head towards sections 103-105 where the visiting tunnel is located and Blazers fans to sections 119-121.
Where are the best seats near an easy exit at the Moda Center?
Seats at the Top of the 100 Level Are Easily Accessible
First, you will want to focus on the 100 level of the stadium. This will minimize your trip up escalators and keep you close to stadium exits/entrances.
In the 100 level, the tunnels to enter/exit the section are near the last rows O and P. If you select seats here, you will have no walk up or down stairs into your seats.
Consider Side or End Sections For the Best Views
For this particular concert, we recommend side sections 112, 113, 101 and 122. The main issue with seating here is that you will have to turn your body a bit to see the stage.
Alternatively, we recommend Sections 117 and 118, which have a head-on view of the stage. The issue here is that you are pushed back farther. So if seeing is problematic, these might not be the best seats.
How many people fit in Suite 67 at the Moda Center?
For the November 16th Michael Buble concert, Suite 67 at the Moda Center (formerly known as the Rose Garden) will hold up to 24 people.
Some of the Michael Buble ticket listings for this shared suite are listed as standing room only, so if you are considering purchasing tickets here, be sure to check if your listing mentions whether the seats will be standing room only.
