More than half of all seats at Midflorida Credit Union Amphitheatre offer some type of shade or cover. Below is a sample of seats that are at least partially covered or shaded at different times of the day. Sections 4-7 are known as the Lower sections. They are located directly behind the Orchestra and on the same level as the front VIP Boxes. With the boxes offer the best head-on views from the center, Sections 5 and 6 are still among the best sections to sit in due to their unobstructed views and close proximity to the stage.
The area closest to the stage at the Midflorida Amphitheatre is sometimes referred to as the Orchestra. For most shows, the Orchestra is broken into three reserved seating sections. For other shows, a general admission Pit area replaces the reserved sections.
All Orchestra seating is covered.
The best seats in the Upper seating area are located in the center of the action in Sections 13-15. As with all reserved seating, these seats are covered from above and feature chairback seating.
These seats provide a fantastic view of the stage and are a little more elevated than the Lower and Middle sections. For the best experience, choose, sit as close to the front (Row A) as possible.
The Upper Side sections are the cheapest way to get covered seating at the MidFlorida Amp. When the weather is nice, Lawn seats are a better choice than the back rows of Sections 11 and 17. And on all days, the front rows of Sections 12 and 16 give a better-than-expected view of the stage.
All non-lawn sections at the MidFlorida Amp in Tampa are covered by the roof. This includes sections 1-17 and all VIP Boxes.
Furthermore, the cover from the roof provides shade to almost all of these seats at all times. Some seats in sections 7, 10, 16 and 17 are susceptible to the sun, but their exposure is limited.
All of the seats at Midflorida Credit Union Amphitheatre are covered. Not only does this venue offer cover in all seats, but it is conveniently located off of the Interstate 4 highway which makes this venue super easy to get to.
