Section 22
Memorial Stadium

- Sideline seating is available on the East and West sides of Kansas' Memorial Stadium. Each section in this seating zone has roughly 70 rows of seats with row 1 located closest to the field. Entry tunnels are located near Row 18 in each section and lead directly to the concourse. An additional tunnel can be found near Row 43 which helps fans access the upper rows. Our favorite seats within these sections are located between Rows 30 and 40. While seats in the lowest 10-15 rows can be obstructed by players on the sideline, these rows are at an ideal height for seeing over the players and for seeing side-to-side. The rows are also situated just below the upper tunnel, making it easier to access amenities. While the seating on both sides is fairly similar, the west side is favored for two reasons. First, this is the Kansas side of the field with the KU players standing in front of sections 6-7. Second, this is the less sunny side of the field. You may not notice it at 11am when the game kicks off, but the sun will eventually begin to fall behind the press box on the west side and provide shade to many of the seats on that side of the field.
