McLane Stadium has bleacher-backed seats adjacent to many chairback sections. These are mostly near the goal lines, but also along the sidelines in rows 15 and higher in sections 322-326.
Baylor Sideline - The Baylor sideline is in front of Section 105, Section 106 and Section 107
Visitor Sideline - The visiting team sideline is in front of Section BL5, Section BL6 and Section BL7
Sections 117-129, as well as all Baylor Line sections, are designated for Baylor students and band members.
About 25% of all seats at McLane Stadium offer some type of shade or cover. Below is a sample of seats that are at least partially covered or shaded at different times of the day. Corner seating on the lower level of the stadium provides fans with very good views, and a more affordable price tag than seats along the sidelines. Sections 118-120 and 129 are reserved for the Baylor students, making seats nearby a more rowdy option.
Fans in the north corners (sections 110-112, 118-120) will have a much better view of the large south endzone videoboard, making these seats a better option for fans that want to watch the highlights and replays on the big board.
Located directly behind the Baylor Golden Wave student band area, the 100 Level Endzone sections offer close views and excellent head on sight lines to the large videoboard above the south endzone. Being so close to the band will make for a louder experience during the game, but it can be a fun experience for getting involved in all the action.
Sections here have up 33 numbered rows of seating, beginning with Row 10 at the very front. Fans will find decent overhead protection in the back rows, and will also be closest to the entry tunnels located at the very top of the sections.
Seats in the 100 Level Sideline sections will have some of the best views for a football game at McLane Stadium, especially along the west sideline in Sections 103-109. Fans here will not only be treated to excellent views from the lower seating tier and between the endzones, but will also have a comfortable chairback seat.
At the east sideline, all sections in this area will be occupied by the Baylor students. Located just above the Baylor Line student seating area, these seats will be some of the loudest and most energetic come gameday in Waco.
Sections on the West sideline have up to 29 numbered rows of seating (with Row 1 being located right up against the field), while the east sideline sections are set further back starting at Row 16 and ending at Row 32.
200 Level Corner seating is a very good place to find a mix of view and value for Baylor Football games. You won't have a chairback seat or access to club amenities, but fans in the northwest corner sections (210-212) will have good views down to the field, excellent sight lines to the large videoboard, and will have the sun at their back sooner than any other 200 level corner seating option.
Sections here have up to 12 numbered rows of seating, with good overhead coverage found in rows 10 and higher.
A great option for scoreboard watchers, these seats have some of the best views of the large south endzone videoboard. Seating consists of bench style bleachers with no back support, but fans won't have to turn their head at all to follow the action from this perspective beyond the uprights.
Sections in the 200 Level Endzone area have 12 numbered rows of seating, with the overhanging 300 level seats providing good coverage in rows 10 and higher.
Located on the second seating tier of the east sideline, the 200 Level Sideline sections offer excellent endzone to endzone views, good viewing height, and comfortable chairback seating.
One notable drawback here is the west facing seating position, meaning fans in these seats will see more sun during a day game. Opt for seats in the back rows for additional overhead coverage which provides some relief on the hotter early season games. Sections here have up to 12 numbered rows of seating in each.
Corner seating on the 300 level will have some of the least desirable views on gameday, but as a result these sections are also a great place to find cheap Baylor football tickets. Opt for sections in the northwest corner (Sections 310-312) where you'll find better relief from the sun and good views of the south endzone videoboard.
Sections in the southeast corner (327-329) will see some of the most sun during day games at McLane stadium, combined with poor views to the large videoboard, we recommend fans look elswehere before purchasing tickets in these three sections. Sections 319, 328 and 329 are reserved for visiting team seating.
Cheap ticket prices and great head on views to the large videoboard. The views of the field will be difficult when the action moves to the far end of the field, but fans can rely on the impressive videoboard to stay dialed into the game.
Sections here have up to 21 numbered rows of seating, with the back rows having good overhead coverage provided by the small roof at the top of the stadium. Vistor seating makes up most of this area, with Sections 314 and 317 being designated for the visiting team ticket allotment.
While on the further seating tier from the field, the 300 Level Sideline sections still provide some good seating options for a Baylor football game. On the West sideline (Sections 302-309), fans will have chairback seating in Rows 6 and lower, and also have the advantage of getting the shade sooner thanks to the east facing seating position and press tower just behind the seats.
On the east sideline, fans will have more exposure to the sun, but can also find chairback seating in the first 12 rows. Better overhead coverage is found in the last rows of these sections thanks to a small roof at the top of the stadium.
Baylor Line seating is the home to the loudest and most dedicated Baylor student fans on gameday at McLane Stadium. The Baylor Golden Wave student band occupies the endzone portion of this seating area, while the students make as much noise as possible to distract the visiting team from just behind their sideline.
