RYS Expert Reviews
200 Level
(2026 Review) -
Best Standard Seating: The 200 Level offers some of the top general seats at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Elevation: Mid rows sit at roughly club-level height, while upper rows feel more like an upper level.
Sideline Sections: The only general 200-Level sideline seats are in sections 219A–225B, with the best views to both sides of the field.
Rows to Choose: Each section has 20–25 rows; picking row 10 or higher helps avoid view blockage from tunnel traffic.
Seats to Avoid: Sections 200–202 are farther than they look and are typically filled with more visiting fans.
Who Should Sit Here
The 200 Level at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is a smart pick for fans who want solid, elevated views without paying club prices. It's a good fit for those who value a balanced vantage point and are happy to trade a bit of proximity for value.
200 Level Seating Details
The club seats occupy an entire sideline on this level, so the only 200-Level sideline sections are 219A–225B. Each section has between 20 and 25 rows, and entry tunnels are located at the top and bottom of most sections. Sections 200–202 sit much farther from the field than fans realize and are typically reserved for visiting fans.
Views from the 200 Level
Fans in the sideline sections (219A–225B) get the best views, with clear sightlines to both sides of the field. A common complaint in the front rows is that people crowding out of the tunnels can block your view, so sightlines improve noticeably higher up.
Good to Know
To be on the safe side, save a few dollars and choose a seat in row 10 or higher. You'll steer clear of tunnel traffic obstructing your view there.
Corner
(2026 Review) - The unique size and shape of the Coliseum makes corner seating highly inequitable. Corner seats on the East side of the stadium are about 100 feet farther from the action than similar seats on the West side (Sections 109B-111 and 116-118B). The unique shape also gives Sections 100-102 and 126-128 and above very poor angles to the field.
While East side corner sections should be avoided, some corner seats on the opposite end of the field offer great value. The 200 level sections in Sections 211 and 216 offer phenomenal views of the entire field at a fraction of the cost of Sideline seating. When the action moves to the far side of the field, it will seem far away - but the cost savings is worth the squinting of the eyes.
Some seats in Sections 125A-127 and 225A-227 in this location are reserved for student seating. Those sections are also the sunniest and hottest sections in the stadium. Contrast that with Sections the Southwest corner which won't be blinded by the sun and will have it set behind them during the late afternoon.
Seating Notes
- For USC games, these seats are on the visitor side of the field
