Seating and Ticket Q&A
How many seats per row in section 9 row 47?
The Coliseum uses a split-section seating layout where a numbered aisle splits each section into a low and high sub-section. For example, low number seats (1-16) in section 9 are on the left side of the aisle, and high number (101-116) seats are on the right side of the aisle.
Additionally, the highest number seat in each sub-section is adjacent to another sub-section with a different number. For example, seat 116 in section 9, row 47 is adjacent to seat 16 in section 8, row 47. As a result, most rows contain roughly 30 seats per row.
What impact will the construction have for fans?
The construction for the 2018-2019 season will largely impact the south sideline of the stadium. The former mid and upper areas of sections 2-11 are being converted into the Scholarship Club Tower to be ready for the start of the 2019 season.
Already in place for the lower areas of these sections are brand new, more comfortable seats. The biggest impact for views will come in the upper parts of the surrounding sections. As the project becomes more complete, the higher rows in sections 2, 3, 10 and even parts of 11 will experience some obstructed views. The higher and closer you get to the construction zone, the worse these will be. The obstructions could be of the field, video board, or other parts of the stadium.
