RYS Expert Reviews

100 Level

(2026 Review) - Lowest Level: The 100 Level is the closest tier to the field in the Coliseum's seating bowl.  Section Size: Each section runs between 40 and 45 rows.  A/B Sideline Sections: Along the sidelines, an "A" or "B" after the section number marks its position relative to the field — "A" sections are always on the right when facing the field.  Student Sections: Students occupy seats from 123A through 127.  Close Views: Expect spectacular, up-close sightlines to the action.  Who Should Sit Here  The 100 Level at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is for fans who want to be as close to the field as possible in one of the largest stadiums in college football. It suits anyone who values proximity and an immersive game-day atmosphere over an elevated wide-angle view.  100 Level Seating Details  This is the lowest level of the seating bowl, wrapping the field with sections of 40 to 45 rows each. Sideline sections carry an "A" or "B" designation that indicates only their position relative to the field. Sections with letter designations have less seats in a row since the section is split in two. Concourse entry tunnels are located at the top of the sections. Students fill seats in sections 123A through 127.  Views from the 100 Level  Being the closest tier to the field, the 100 Level delivers close, dramatic views of the action. The USC sideline is on the north side of the stadium in front of sections 121 and 122.  This visitors are on the opposite side in front of 106 and 1107.  Sun & Shade  For day games, seats behind the Scholarship Tower get the most shade which is worth keeping in mind if you're picking sections for an afternoon kickoff.

Seating Notes

  • For football games, these seats are located behind the visitor sideline
  • For football games, we recommend rows 29-43 for great views of the field
  • For football games, desirable view from near midfield

  • Seating and Ticket Q&A

  • What impact will the construction have for fans?

The construction for the 2018-2019 season will largely impact the south sideline of the stadium. The former mid and upper areas of sections 2-11 are being converted into the Scholarship Club Tower to be ready for the start of the 2019 season.

Already in place for the lower areas of these sections are brand new, more comfortable seats. The biggest impact for views will come in the upper parts of the surrounding sections. As the project becomes more complete, the higher rows in sections 2, 3, 10 and even parts of 11 will experience some obstructed views. The higher and closer you get to the construction zone, the worse these will be. The obstructions could be of the field, video board, or other parts of the stadium.
