Best Seats For a Concert at Lenovo Center
The most common seating layout at Lenovo Center for concerts is an end-stage setup with the stage located near sections Section 108, Section 109 and Section 110. For many concerts there are also slight variations to the layout, which may include General Admission seats, fan pits and B-stages.
On the Floor: Sections Floor 1, Floor 2, Floor 3 and Floor 4 are Floor Seats, which offer some of the closest views of the performers. For many concerts, floor sections are added or removed. These performer-specific adjustments may alter the floor layout and the views from each floor section.
To the Side of the Stage: For close views of the stage with a little bit of elevation, consider seats to the side of the stage in Section 105, Section 106 and Section 117. The view is not head-on like on the floor, but many of the seats are closer to the stage, provide better elevation and are actual stadium seats.
Head-on to the Stage: Seats directly across from the stage, like those in Section 125, Section 126, Section 127 and Section 128 provide the most comfortable looks of the performance.
Even upper level sections offer unobstructed sitelines. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to see as much detail from these seats as you would if you sat closer to the stage.
Consider the Following When Buying Concert Tickets
Seats behind the stage are occassionally sold: Unless your main objective is to just get in the building, you'll want to completely avoid anything behind the stage - like those in/near or above sections Section 108, Section 109, Section 110 and Section 111. It's unlikely the performer will turn around to salute you - and you're more likely to be completely blocked out from seeing the show.
If you're on the shorter side (or bringing kids), consider floor seats only in the first few rows: The most common complaint amongst floor ticketholders is that they can't see the stage because of taller people in front of them. As an alternative, consider side sections near the stage that will still have you close and high enough to see.
Lower level side sections are not created equal: While the side sections closest to the stage are top-notch, side sections farther from the stage may leave you with a cramp in your neck. Sections 102 and 122 are not well-angled towards the stage - leaving you to turn your head for an ideal view. Instead, consider head-on sections in the lower level or even close side seats in the upper level like 305 and 323.

The lower level corner sections at Lenovo Center consist of sections 123-124 and 129-130. Located directly behind the lower level side sections, the corner seats provide a similarly great view of the show.
One of the best parts about the lower level corner seats is that they're facing the show while still being located close to the stage. We recommend the lower level corner seats, but consider moving a section or two towards the side so you'll have access to exclusive amenities and the 200 level.
Lower Level End (Concert) Seating
The lower level end sections are located directly in front of the stage and behind the floor seats on the 100 level. Consisting of sections 125-128, these seats provide a head-on view of the show and are conveniently located on the main level of Lenovo Center.
With several food options on this level including popular restaurant PDQ, sitting on the 100 level is a great option for a concert at Lenovo Center. You'll be on the same level as the stage, and in the lower level end sections, the concert is directly in front of you!
Lower Level Side (Concert) Seating
If you prefer to sit in a quality concourse section rather than the floor level, look no further than the lower level side seats at Lenovo Center. Located on each side of the stage, the lower level side sections provide a great view of the show. Seats in or near sections 104-105 and 118-119 are preferable, not only because of their proximity to the stage, but also because they're located at the best angle to watch the concert.
The lower level side sections at Lenovo Center are some of our favorites. Sit near the back of the arena for a great view of the stage production and lighting, or choose a section directly near the side of the stage to get a close-up view of the artists. No matter where you choose to sit in the lower level side sections, you'll be happy with your choice.
Upper Level Corner (Concert) Seating
Located in the upper level corners, sections 328-331 and 335-338 provide a nice view angled towards the stage. These seats can feel a bit far from the action, but with their affordable prices, upper level corner sections at Lenovo Center are absolutely worth it.
Be prepared to sit far up in the rafters here in the upper level corner, as the rows go up to row P. While the banners hanging from the ceiling can be a bit annoying, they won't obstruct your view at all. Seats in the lower rows in the upper level corner are preferable, but any seat in these sections will work if you're prepared to sit far from the show.
Upper Level End (Concert) Seating
Located furthest away from the stage, the upper level end sections consist of sections 332-334. These three sections are some of the widest in the whole stadium, so be aware that it will be difficult to get out of each row if you're sitting in the middle seats.
However, having a straight-ahead view of the show is great. Ideally, the concert you choose to attend will have live video screens to compliment the performance, as this greatly adds to the experience when sitting here. It can feel a bit far from the stage, but if you know what to expect, sitting in the Upper Level End seats will be a great time. Take a look at our seat views for each section and decide which view works best for you.
Upper Level Side (Concert) Seating
The upper level side sections at Lenovo Center are located on each side of the stage on the top concourse of the stadium. While the viewing angle from these seats can be a bit odd, it's nice to be located closer to the stage when compared to the rest of the 300 level.
While sections 321-327 will only go up to row J, sections 301-307 will go all the way up to row P. If you're prepared to sit in the top level of the stadium, we would recommend the side sections. They feel much closer to the show than elsewhere on the 300 level, and provide a decent view of the concert.
Lower Level Baseline (Basketball) Seating
While the numbered rows at the front of these lower baseline sections keep you close to the action, the views are better when sitting in Rows F and higher due to the better elevation over the seats just in front and more comfortable feel from the permanent seating.
Although be prepared for some viewing difficulties throughout the lower baseline as the basket can block the view at times.
Double lettered rows are located at the back of the seating sections here, which keep you closer to the entry tunnels at the very top. Accessible seating can be found in the back of Sections 110-113.
Lower Level Corner (Basketball) Seating
Corner seating on the lower level features between 15 and 25 rows per section. Sections begin with H or K as the first row, which is pushed back behind floor seating or the floor tunnels. The entrance to each section is in the last row.
Lower Level Sidecourt (Basketball) Seating
Seating in sections 101-107 and 116-122 behind the floor is one of the best places to sit for basketball at Lenovo Center. For NC State games, Row F is right behind the students -- giving you a great deal of atmosphere without having to fully immerse yourself.
Upper Level Baseline (Basketball) Seating
The cheapest seats at Lenovo Center are usually found behind the basket in the upper level. Sections 332-334 are among the largest in the arena, making it a challenge to get in and out if you don't have an aisle seat.
Sections on the other side of the court (312-316) have fewer seats per row, making them a better option for families and fans who get up and down a lot. Those sections (except 314) also feature accessible seating at the front of the section.
Upper Level Corner (Basketball) Seating
Sections 308, 320, 328 and 338 in the upper level have an under-appreciated view of the court. Less expensive than side seating, the views aren't obstructed by the basket like other corner seating and the angle towards mid-court in these sections is very good (less turning your body to see plays). Most corner sections have roughly 15 rows of seats with A as the first row.
Upper Level Sidecourt (Basketball) Seating
Despite their location at the top of the arena, side seating on the Upper Level features good views of the court at a fraction of the cost of the lower level.
Sections 304 and 324 are located at mid-court, making them the ideal for the budget-conscious fan who wants a good view. In most sections, A is the first row and P is last.
Fan and Goal Zone (Hockey) Seating
Home to the cheapest tickets for a hockey game at Lenovo Center, sections on the upper level behind the nets provide elevated views and will have tough views of the far end of the ice. Sections behind the net where the Hurricanes shoot twice (331-335) are often referred to as the Shoot Twice Goal Zone, while the seats at the opposite end are known as the Fan Zone sections.
Most sections here will feature 14 lettered rows of seating, with entrances located closer to the front of the section near Row C.
Lower Level Center Ice and Sideline (Hockey) Seating
With seats behind the benches and the penalty box, the Lower Level Center sections are home to some of the most exciting places to be for a hockey game at Lenovo Center. Fans can sit directly behind the Hurricanes bench in Row C of Section 105, or behind the visiting team bench in Row C of Section 103. Seats in Section 104 Row C will be behind either bench, with the higher numbered seats behind the Hurricanes bench.
Seats up against the glass can be found in Row A of Sections 102, 106, 117-118, and 120-121, and offer one of the most thrilling places to sit for a hockey game. However from this close to the ice, it can sometimes be difficult to follow all the action. For the most balanced views, we recommend sitting near the top of the the sections, where you'll have a better elevation for seeing all areas of the ice, and remain close to the concourse entry tunnels.
Sections in the Lower Level Center have up to 30 rows of seating, starting with single lettered rows at the front, followed by double lettered rows near the back. Some sections feature Standing Room areas located just above the last row.
Lower Level North and South (Hockey) Seating
Behind the nets on the lower level is a great place to see the plays developing as the teams skate down the ice. Fans will have a great angle to see what the goalies see from their net, as well as being some of the first people to know when a puck crosses the goal line.
Home team fans wanting an up close view of a Hurricanes goal will want to find themselves in Sections 125-128, which is closest to the net where the Canes shoot during both the first and third periods. Sections here have up to 27 lettered rows of seating, with single lettered rows at the front, followed by double lettered rows behind.
Lower Level Sideline and Corner (Hockey) Seating
Corner seating from the lower tier offers a unique perspective that combines the traditional goal to goal views with cross ice sight lines. Sections 101, 122-124, and 129-130 are best for the Carolina fans as these seats are closer to the net where the Hurricanes attack in both the 1st and 3rd periods.
Not all sections extend down to the ice level here, so for seats on the glass you will be better off searching in the lower center or behind the net areas. Sections 115 and 123 are set further back due to tunnels below, but fans can find the closest handicap accessible seating at Lenovo Center in Row A of Sections 108 and 130.
With up to 31 rows of seating these sections are large for a lower level, and with entry tunnels at the very top it leaves the longest walks for fans in the front rows (single lettered rows). Double lettered rows are located at the back and offer a better elevation for seeing all areas of the ice while keeping you close to the section entry tunnels.
Terrace Preferred (Hockey) Seating
If you're looking for center ice views that are more budget friendly, the Upper Level Center sections are the place to be. The farther views keep prices in the lower range, but still provide clear views to both nets with the traditional angles you most commonly find when watching a game on TV.
If you have the option, we recommend opting for Sections 321-327 where you'll have a head on view of the players and coaches on the team benches. Sections here are also referred to as the Terrace Preferred and Terrace Value, and typically have 14 lettered rows of seating with entry tunnels closer to the front near Row C.
Terrace Value and Fan Zone (Hockey) Seating
Upper Level Corner sections are a great place to find decent views with one of the cheaper price tags for a Hurricanes game. Fans can still be close to the net where the Hurricanes attack twice in Sections 328-331 and 335-338, making them them a great value option for home team fans on a budget.
Sections here have as many as 14 lettered rows of seating, with entry tunnels located near Row C towards the front.
