400 Level Sideline

- As the highest seating on the west sideline, seats here will have far views but are also a good option for fans on a budget who need some relief from the hot Texas sun. Seats here face the east sideline and will have the sun at the back sooner, and will also have good overhead protection in back portion provided by a roof above. Chairback seating can be found in the first 6 rows of Sections 403 to 406, and with entry tunnels located at Row 2, fans closest to the front will have the shortest walks to and from the concourse.

McNeese State Cowboys at Texas A&M Aggies - Sep 7, 2024 — 2nd row from the top of the stadium, but it's close to the middle of the field, AND it's covered! Although we had no concerns about rain or the sun, it was windy! We were in the seats when a cool front blew in with 40 mph winds and it was a little difficult to hear (because of the blowing/howling wind) what was happening in the stadium. During the summer when it's hot, the wind is great and welcome. However, if/when a cold front blows in and the temperature drops, I heard from some of our seat neighbors that it is advisable to bring a blanket and perhaps a tarp to block the wind. Although we could see only 60% of the large jumbotron, we could see 100% of the smaller jumbotron. I would buy these seats again, keeping the notes above in mind to be prepared for various weather events.
