RYS Expert Reviews

Glass Seats

(2026 Review) - Right on the Glass: Sit in Row A of the Plaza Level, just inches from the ice and the action.    Ultimate Hockey Experience: Feel every hit, hear the boards rattle, and watch the game unfold directly in front of you.    Aim for a Corner: Corner sections balance up-close action with down-ice visibility, with especially good views of face-offs and goals at the nearby end.    Hard to Come By: Glass Seats are among the most limited tickets at Honda Center, making them a special find whenever they're available.    Who Should Sit Here  Glass Seats at Honda Center are made for the hockey fan who wants to be completely immersed in the game. Sitting just inches from the ice puts you right in the middle of the action — you'll see players battle along the boards, hear every hit, and get an up-close look at the speed and physicality that make hockey so exciting. If you want a night that feels more like being part of the game than simply watching it, this is the place to sit.  Glass Seats Location & Details  The Glass Seats occupy Row A of the Plaza Level, placing you directly against the rink glass at ice level. You're as close to the players and the action as you can get from a traditional stadium seat, with the glass providing an unobstructed barrier between you and the rink. Players fly past at eye level, pucks race around the boards in front of you, and the energy of the game is far more noticeable from this close. If you have a choice of sections, look toward the corners, which combine the proximity of being on the glass with a more balanced view of the ice.  Views from the Glass Seats  The views are unlike anything you'll get from a traditional seat. From the glass, you'll have an up-close look at players entering the zone, battles along the boards, shots on goal, and every detail that's easy to miss from farther away — from players communicating on the bench to the speed of a puck coming off the stick.  Corner sections are particularly appealing because they give you a better perspective of the entire rink while keeping you extremely close to the action. You'll have an excellent view of face-offs and goals at the nearby end, while the angle down the ice lets you follow plays developing toward the opposite goal. Seats closer to center ice put you directly alongside more of the action, but the angle can make it harder to see plays developing at the far end when players are between you and the puck.  Good to Know  For the best combination of proximity and overall visibility, target a corner section. Center-ice glass seats put you right on top of the action but can obscure plays developing at the opposite end — the corners keep you close while opening up the down-ice view.

Plaza Level

(2026 Review) - Lower Level Seating: The Plaza Level runs along Honda Center's lower bowl, sections 201-228.  Best Center-Ice Views: Sections 208 and 222 sit at center ice with comfortable sightlines to both ends.  Row A Is Glass: For Ducks games, Row A seats are glass seats — you'll watch through the boards.  Solid Concert Option: Side sections like 206-210 stay close to the stage and beat folding chairs on the floor.  Short Sections: Every section has fewer than twenty rows (usually A-S), so no seat is too far from the concourse.  Who Should Sit Here  The Plaza Level at Honda Center suits fans who want to be in the lower bowl without committing to the priciest ice-level seats. It works for both Ducks games and concerts, and gives you room to choose between being right on top of the action or sitting a little higher for an easier view and quicker concourse access.  Plaza Level Seating Details  Plaza seats sit on the stadium's lower level, spanning sections 201 through 228 around the bowl. Each section has fewer than twenty rows, most commonly labeled A through S, with concourse amenities located above Row S. Where you land depends on how close you want to be and which view you're after — lower rows put you nearest the ice or stage, while higher rows sit closer to the concourse.  Views from the Plaza Level  For hockey, center-ice sections 208 and 222 offer the most balanced views to both ends and are the most desirable. Corner sections — especially in an upper row — are another comfortable way to take in the ice. Lower rows immerse you in the speed of the game but mean looking through the glass, while higher rows give you a better chance of seeing over it. If you're not near center ice, consider who you're cheering for: the Ducks shoot twice toward sections 214-216, and home fans pay a premium to sit on that end (the reverse is true for visiting fans). For concerts, side sections stay close to the stage, while end sections like 201 deliver a head-on view from the lower level.  Good to Know  Choosing a row is a trade-off: sit closer to feel the game and be fully immersed, but expect higher prices and a view through the glass. Move up a few rows and tickets get cheaper, the glass is less of an obstacle, and you're a short walk from the concourse. For hockey, remember Row A seats are glass seats. If you'd rather be even closer for a concert, compare with Floor Seats.

Seating Notes

  • For most hockey hockey games, these seats are located on the end where the visitors shoot twice
  • Head-on view of the performance for end-stage concerts
  • Rows A are part of the Glass Seats for Ducks games
