Probably rather sit in a slightly higher row

    Oct 2014

    Basketball Review
    Section 223, Row 1

These seats are really polarizing. On the one hand, you have basketball's best videoboard at eye-level, you have a ledge for drinks or a phone and you're in the first row. On the other hand, your view is completely through the glass. It was clean on this nite (it was the first pre-season game), but it's still really annoying. Another item on the negative list is that, in general, the seats in the balcony are incredibly high up there. It's a good thing it's a basketball-only arena because if they played hockey here, you'd never be able to see the puck. I felt it was high in Row 1. Can you imagine being in Row 10 or 20? The lower level is so beautifully close to the court, but the Balcony is a major disappointment. If you are sitting in the Balcony, I think I'd go with Row 4. The concourse tunnel is right there and you're above the glass.

    • Balcony Level

      -

The Balcony Level at Gainbridge Fieldhouse refers to sections on the stadium's 200 level. These are often the best way to find cheap tickets to a Pacers game or concert. Best Seats in the Balcony  Sections along the side are the largest in the Balcony. These contain up to 23 rows of seats with row 1 at the front and an entrance near row 3. When purchasing tickets in one of these side sections, pay close attention to which row you are considering. We recommend paying a premium to sit in one of the first ten rows. These seats are much closer to the floor and more convenient to the concourse and its amenities. If these aren't available, make sure you're getting a good deal in a higher row or look for tickets in a non-side section. One highlight of the Balcony - no matter where you're seated - is the massive videoboard. Guests on all sides and in all rows will have excellent looks at replays and stats. Balcony Tickets for Concerts  For most Gainbridge Fieldhouse concerts, the stage is setup at the far end of the floor. When this is the case, sections 208 and 225 are the best sections in the Balcony. They are near the stage without having too severe of a side angle.

      (Section 226) - -

I was waaaaay up there in row 20 of section 226 and it took forever to get up there. The section is super steep and row 20 felt like going up to row 50. With that said, the seats themselves were pretty good. Each seat had a cupholder and despite being so high up I enjoyed the view of the court. A fe...

      (Section 225) - -

We were 1 row from the top but we still loved the seats. You can see everything just fine and also it is a great way to see the plays develop. These seats would not be for you if you can't climb stairs very easy. I would use these seats again to watch anything at this place.
