Sideline seating at Faurot Field is not known for being covered or shaded except in the Club Level. Never-the-less, the supports for the stadium lights do provide protection for a limited number of rows in the East Upper Deck. Specifically, rows 8 and above in sections 301, 303, 304, 312, 313 and 315 are usually shaded and protected from rain. 
Looking towards the new South Endzone at Faurot Field. This area includes premium seating, common seating, field seating and suites. It's also one of the few places where you can find shade on a hot day.
