RYS Expert Reviews

View Level

(2026 Review) - Highest Seating Tier: Located on the upper deck with the most elevated views in the stadium.    Budget-Friendly Option: First few rows offer strong value compared to Terrace Level below.    Well Covered Sections: Many seats down the lines are protected from the sun.    Convenient Amenities: Restrooms are easily accessible throughout the level.    Steep Seating Layout: Tunnel entry at Row 1 with long walks up for higher rows.    Who Should Sit Here  View Level seats are ideal for fans looking for a budget-friendly option with a full-field perspective. These seats are best for fans who don’t mind heights and want to save money while still seeing the entire game develop. They’re also a good fit for fans who prefer shade and easy access to amenities over proximity to the field.  View Level Location & Details  View Level seating includes sections across the 400 level at Daikin Park, forming the highest tier in the stadium.  These sections sit:  Well above the Terrace Level    At a steep incline with Row 1 closest to the concourse tunnel    With longer walks required as you move higher up    Because of the steep design:  Lower rows are strongly recommended to reduce walking and improve comfort    One benefit of this level is how well it was designed for fan convenience:  Restrooms (men’s, women’s, and family) are located close to most sections    Many sections down the lines are well covered from the sun    Views from View Level  View Level seats offer a high, full-field perspective, but vary depending on section.  Sections 417-421: Best overall views of the entire field    Sections down the lines: Much farther from home plate, but often better covered.    Sections 430-438: Limited or obstructed view of the scoreboard    Because of the height:  Great for seeing the entire field layout and game flow    Less ideal for tracking pitch detail or player interaction

Fan Reviews

  • Watch out for the Pigeons! — Getting to these seats early was a mistake as the sun was blasting right into my eyes prior to the 7:10PM first pitch. And maybe the section had not been thoroughly swept out prior to the game, but there were a good number of pigeons hanging out nearby, one of which almost flew right into my head.

But in terms of the view to the game, I don't know if it gets much more frustrating than this. The railings block out a large portion of the right side of the infield, and you can forget about being able to see home plate or the mound if sitting casually in the seat. The right field line and Astros dugout on the first base line are completely gone as well, and leaning far forward will be your only saving grace. The one cool thing that the railings do not block is the view of the Houston skyline, which is quite impressive from these upper level seats.

Overall I would not recommend these front row seats, and would advise fans to look a few rows higher up to avoid the frustration caused by the railings.

  • The seats were fine, the view was good. More walking than I wanted to do though — We had a good view of the field from our seats. The crowd around us was a lot of fun, and the go food and atmosphere of stadium were stellar as usual. Go Astros!
