On the Floor: Sections Floor 1, Floor 2 and Floor 3 are Floor Seats, which offer some of the closest views of the performers. For many concerts, floor sections are added or removed. These performer-specific adjustments may alter the floor layout and the views from each floor section.
Even upper level sections offer unobstructed sitelines. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to see as much detail from these seats as you would if you sat closer to the stage.
Consider the Following When Buying Concert Tickets
If you're on the shorter side (or bringing kids), consider floor seats only in the first few rows: The most common complaint amongst floor ticketholders is that they can't see the stage because of taller people in front of them. As an alternative, consider side sections near the stage that will still have you close and high enough to see.
Located between the lower level end and side sections, the lower level corner seats at Credit Union 1 Arena consist of sections 106-107 and 111-112.
Formerly known as UIC Pavilion, Credit Union 1 Arena's lower level corner seats provide a comfortable view of the show. Perhaps the best part of these seats is the slight angling of them towards the stage, providing a straightforward view of the stage while not being as far away as the end sections.
While the lower level sideline sections are the closest and best view of the concert, lower level corner seats come in at a close second. If you want to sit in the lower concourse at Credit Union 1 Arena but the lower level side sections are unavailable or too expensive, consider seats in the lower level corner.
Lower Level End Seating
Located directly in front of the stage in the baseline sections of the arena are lower level end seats. Consisting of sections 108, 109, and 110, these seats are the furthest away from the stage when compared to other 100 level sections.
While providing a straightforward view of the show and not requiring you to turn your head to the side, the lower level end sections at Credit Union 1 Arena feel much further away than the side or corner sections. Also, the seats aren't very elevated off the floor, so the perspective isn't all that great.
Consider looking at side or corner sections as opposed to seats in the end section. While the view is acceptable, check if there's more preferable options available at a similar price point.
Lower Level Side Seating
Outside of floor seats, lower level side seats at Credit Union 1 Arena have to be the next best seats at the venue. All sections in the lower level side sections provide an ideal view of the show. The sightlines from these seats are great. Although you can't go wrong with any seat, we recommend checking our pictures of seat views to determine which section you prefer.
Sections 102, 117, and 116 may be located behind the stage and are often not available for purchase.
Sections 103 and 115 are ideal. They provide an exponentially better view compared to those in the lower level corner or lower level end.
Sections 104-105 and 114-115 are similarly great views. Since this is a relatively small arena, lower level side seats are basically like sitting in one of the front few sections. Lower level side seats at Credit Union 1 Arena are well worth the money.
Upper Level Corner Seating
The upper level corner sections at Credit Union 1 Arena consist of sections 205-207 and 211-213. These sections are located pretty far from the stage, but the upper level corner sections will often be less crowded than other areas. While we prefer sitting on the lower level or upper side sections, seats in the upper corners are worth getting at a low price point.
Note that the top half of these rows may have a slightly obstructed view of the show. The venue has a low ceiling, and it can get in your way while standing in these sections. Check our seat views for a better idea of what these sections look like.
Upper Level End Seating
Sections 208-210 are the end sections in the upper level of Credit Union 1 Arena. Located on the opposite side of the stage, these seats can feel a bit far from the show. However, the straightforward view of the concert is nice. Lower numbered rows in the upper level end sections are preferable.
Similar to the upper level corner sections, the venue's low ceiling can get in the way in the higher rows. For this reason, you may be better off looking for tickets in a side section or on the lower level.
Upper Level Side Seating
Located on the balcony above the lower level side sections, the upper level side sections are closest to the stage. Coming on the sides of the stage, the upper level side sections are the most popular 200 level sections and provide a comfortable view of the show.
Lower lettered rows are the best option in the upper level side sections, as higher rows can be uncomfortably close to the ceiling. While your view won't be obstructed, rows J land lower provide a better view of the concert.
