Balcony

- The Balcony at Chicago Theatre includes traditional seating in the center and Balcony Boxes on each side. Like Main Floor Seats, Balcony sections are divided into left and right sections. There are sections 1R-3R and 1L-3L, with Section 4 directly in the middle. Each of these sections have fewer than 19 rows and the rows are divided into sections of their own. Following rows E and L there are walkways going across that make it easier for patrons to get in and out of their seats. Balcony Boxes The Balcony Boxes are located along the left and right sides of the Balcony seating area. The Boxes on the left are numbered 1-9, with the boxes on the right numbered 10-18. Each box has at least 4 chairs for patrons to sit and enjoy the show. The views are not the best because you are not getting that center view, but you are still able to see the entire stage from each box section.

On the aisle and walkway — These seats were nice to be able to get to the walkway quickly. They are pretty close to the center of the theater with good views to the stage. Like many old theaters in Chicago, the seats are designed so that you can just see the front of the stage. You cannot see any of the crowd below. Due to the balcony's height, if there is anything on the video screens to the right or left of the stage you will be looking down to watch it which I found to be an odd feeling. Overall really enjoyed these seats and fit what we were looking for at our event.

Why do my seats say 213 and 215? Are these seats together?

Yes, the seats you purchased will be together. At the Chicago Theatre, all seats in "Left" sections are odd and all seats in "Right" sections are even. Only seats in center sections are in sequential order.

For "Odd" sections seats will count up by two starting at 1 from the right side (i.e. 1, 3, 5, etc.). For "Even" sections, seats will count up by two starting at 2 from the left side (i.e. 2, 4, 6, etc.)

In your situation, seats 213 and 215 will be next each other in a section left of center stage.
