100 Level Corner (Basketball)

- Corner seating in the lower level for a basketball game is often hit or miss. All four corners feature two sections with drastically different experiences. If sitting close to the players or the floor is a priority for you, consider the first two rows (BB-CC) in a corner section like 102 or 120. These rows are behind the player benches and just a few feet from the hardwood. Just beware that the views of the other end of the court are difficult from such a low position. Avoid the front rows of sections like 103 and 119 where tickets are often over-priced and you won't be as close to the court as you might think. Row A is the first row in sections 103, 108, 114 and 119 but you'll feel like you're about 10 rows back. If that's not an issue for you, you'll actually find that rows A-O in these sections are the smallest in the 100 level. There are 10 or fewer seats in each row which makes it easier to get in and out. Instead of the lower rows in 103, 108, etc., consider tickets near the top of each section. Rows P-U have fairly good sitelines (though the basket does disrupt the view a bit), close proximity to the main concourse and some of the lowest ticket prices in the 100 level.

Preferred Attack and Defend (Hockey)

- From the corner of the lower level of seating, fans will get a great view of the action on the near side of the ice. Fans will have an ideal perspective for big face-offs close to their side, but it can be difficult to see what is happening when the action approaches the opposite end of the ice. For this reason, be sure to choose the side where your team shoot twice. If you're a Caps fan, choose one of the sections on the 102-103 side of the ice. You'll have the best views of a majority of their scoring chances.

VIP Glass Seats

(2026 Review) - VIP Seats for Capitals games are located in the first three rows (A-C) of the lower level. These seats put fans mere feet from the glass and the ice and come with all-inclusive club access. Row A tickets are true Glass Seats. Ticketholders will have access to the upscale United Globe Lounge. Only Row A ticketholders have access to this very exclusive club. Beer, wine, cocktails and several food options are included. Rows B-C and rows D-H (in select sections) are also in on the VIP action. Besides being close to the ice, ticketholders in these rows will have access to the United Globe Club where they can relax, socialize and enjoy premium perks like private restrooms and exclusive food options.

What does limited view mean in section 114 at the Verizon Center?

For most end-stage concerts, the stage is set up such that 114 is to the left of and slightly behind the stage. Therefore, you will not have a direct head-on view of the stage. Instead, you will be looking at the side of the stage and may not be able to see to the other side of the stage.
