Our favorite options for attending a game at Amon Carter Stadium with a standing room only ticket are located just the lower level sections at the south endzone. From this position you will have excellent head on views of the north endzone videoboard, excellent shade and coverage provided by the Zone Club area above, and there is also a convenient railing which you can lean against while also having a place for your concessions.
Its hard to beat a standing room area which features a helpful railing for holding your food and beverage
You will barely need to turn your head at all to follow the action, with the additional bonus of a head on view to the south endzone videoboard

Most seats at Amon Carter stadium are uncovered. Very few rows of the stadium are beneath overhands making it hard to get relief from bad weather. If you must have covered seating, look at Row V or higher in sections 201-210.
During a day game, the South endzone seats will see the most shade from the Meyer-Martin Athletic Complex. Sections 131-135 will see the most shade with the sun behind them - although this will change as the day goes on and the sun sets.
For later starts, all four levels on the West side of the stadium will move into the shade. The 200 level sections will be first followed by the lower number sections on the other 3 levels.
Avoid seats in the North and East areas of the stadium to stay out of the sun.
