Who Should Sit Here

The Terrace Level at American Airlines Center is ideal for fans who want to catch a Mavericks game, a Stars game, or a concert without paying premium prices. It's a smart choice for value-minded fans who are happy trading proximity for an affordable, elevated seat.

Terrace Level Seating Details

The Terrace Level is the venue's upper tier, covering the sections numbered in the 300s. For most events, seats along the sides are the most desirable. The side sections are split into upper and lower portions: rows E and below make up the lower portion and are reached directly from the section entrance — these are sometimes labeled Terrace Preferred — while the higher rows can only be accessed via an additional staircase. For Stars games, sections 315-321 are on the side where the Stars shoot twice.

Views from the Terrace Level

From an elevated position, the side sections deliver good views — center-court seats for Mavs games and center-ice seats for Stars games. For concerts, the stage position changes from show to show, but the stage sits in front of lower sections 101 and 124 for most shows. When it's in that common spot, sections 309 and 327 provide the best views from the side.

Good to Know

If you're after the sweet spot in this level, target the lower rows (E and below) in a side section so you can walk in straight from the entrance and skip the extra climb up the staircase.
