  • Section 209 Reviews

    • Middle Level Corner (Football)

      -

Middle level corner seating is located on the second tier up from the playing surface and behind home pate. Sections is this seating location are separated by a press box directly behind home plate, with even numbered sections 204-210 closer to 1st base, and odd numbered sections 203-209 closer to 3rd base. 200 level seating features fewer rows per section making for quick and easy access to and from the seats.

    • Press Level

      -

Elevated 200 Level Views: Sections 203-224 provide a higher vantage point for seeing the full field    Baseline Orientation: Even sections on the first base (Rays) side, odd sections on the third base side    Compact Sections: Typically just 7 rows per section with Row A at the front    No Club Perks: Unlike many ballparks, 200 level seats do not include club access or premium amenities    Best Value Views: Strong sightlines for the price, but avoid sections far down the lines for better angles    Who Should Sit Here  Press Level seats are ideal for Rays fans who want a clear, elevated view of the entire field without paying for premium seating. These are a great option for fans who prioritize sightlines and value over amenities.  Press Level Location & Details  Press Level seating at Tropicana Field is located in sections 203-224 on the 200 level, wrapping around the infield.  Even-numbered sections: First base side (Rays side)    Odd-numbered sections: Third base side    Most sections are relatively small, with just 7 rows labeled A-G, and Row A closest to the field. The smaller section size makes for easier entry and exit compared to larger lower-level sections.  Unlike many newer stadiums, the 200 level at Tropicana Field is not club seating, meaning ticketholders do not receive any special access or premium perks.  Views from Press Level Seating  Press Level seats offer a strong, elevated perspective of the game.  The height allows fans to see the entire field clearly, making it easy to follow pitch location, defensive positioning, and overall gameplay. Many fans prefer this angle for its balance between visibility and distance.  However, sections located farther down the baselines can have tougher viewing angles, especially for home plate. In these seats, fans may need to turn their body to follow the action.  For the best experience, look for sections closer to home plate.

    • Press Level Infield (Baseball)

      -

The Press Level is another name for 200 level seating at Tropicana Field. These sections contain fewer than ten rows and are a great alternative to the last five rows of the 100 level. Sit in even numbered sections (1B side) for a better view of the scoreboard and to be closer to a greater number of concession and beer stands.
