Fieldside Boxes

(2026 Review) - Close-to-Field Seating: Located within ~12 rows of the field near the dugouts    Padded Comfort: Stadium-style seats with extra cushioning    Dugout Views: Sections directly above both Rays and visiting team dugouts    Baseline Extension: Additional sections extend further down the lines    No All-Inclusive Perks: Does not include food and beverage like Home Plate Boxes    Who Should Sit Here  Fieldside Box seats are ideal for Rays fans who want to sit as close to the field as possible without paying for all-inclusive club seating. These seats are a great option for fans who value proximity to the players and dugouts, but don’t need the added food and beverage perks.     Fieldside Box Location & Details  Fieldside Box seating is located on the Lower Level near the dugouts and along the baselines, placing fans within roughly the first 12 rows of the field.  Sections 112, 114, 116, 118 (even): Above the Rays dugout    Sections 111, 113, 115, 117 (odd): Above the visiting team dugout    Sections 119-125: Extend further down the baselines past the dugouts    Rows by section:  111-118: Rows K-L    119 & 120: Rows B-L    121, 123, 125: Rows B-F    All seats feature padded stadium-style chairs and are positioned very close to the field, creating one of the most immersive non-club seating experiences at Tropicana Field.  Views from Fieldside Box Seats  Fieldside Box seats offer excellent, up-close views of the game.  Seats above the dugouts provide a unique look at player interactions, coaching decisions, and in-game activity. The low row positioning brings fans just steps from the field, creating a highly immersive experience.  Sections further down the baselines (119-125) still offer close proximity but with sharper angles toward home plate. While not as centered as seats behind home plate, these sections are ideal for fans who enjoy being near the action along the lines.  Fieldside Box Amenities  Fieldside Box seats focus on proximity and comfort rather than premium inclusions.  Padded stadium seating    Extremely close access to the field and dugouts    Access to standard concessions and restrooms    No in-seat service or all-inclusive food and beverage    Fieldside Box vs. Home Plate Box Seats  The key difference between these two premium lower-level options is amenities vs. proximity.  Home Plate Box seats include complimentary food, beer, wine, and soft drinks, along with in-seat service and a more centered view behind home plate.  Fieldside Box seats, on the other hand, are focused on being as close to the field as possible, especially near the dugouts, but do not include all-inclusive food and beverage.  For Rays games, Fieldside Boxes are a great choice for fans who want a close, immersive experience, while Home Plate Boxes are better suited for those looking for a more all-inclusive, comfort-driven option.

Lower Level Endzone (Football)

- Endzone seating on the lower level will have two different feels from behind the 3rd base line, as well as beyond the right field wall. Odd numbered sections from 109-123 are located along the normal third base line and are close to the playing field level, while even numbered sections from 142-150 are located in Right Field and will sit higher up from the playing surface. To avoid being too low to the field behind the third base line, opt for seats near the back of the section (double lettered rows) for superior views to the majority of the playing surface. Seats beyond the right field wall will have good elevation from the field in all rows, making the closer rows the best among these right field endzone options. Seats beyond the right field wall will also be very close to to the featured Tropicana Field aquarium which houses 30 cownose rays on display for fans.

Lower Level Infield (Baseball)

- Lower Level Infield seating at Tropicana Field includes sections 101-126. Odd number sections are on the third base side, while even sections are on the first base side. The Rays dugout is in front of even sections 112-118, while the visitor's dugout is in front of odd sections 111-117. Avoid Rows WW and XX on the Lower Level because of the obstructed view created by the 200 level overhang. While sections 101-106 will give you the best home plate view, most concessions and restrooms are on each baseline rather than behind home plate.

Obstructed Seating

- The views from rows VV-YY in sections 107-131 are limited by the overhang from the 200 level. Seeing pop-ups, flyballs and scoreboards will be difficult.
