A Football Field Transformed
The AT&T Stadium is home to the Dallas Cowboys football team and will be transformed to accommodate over 55,000 fans that will attend the Academy of Country Music Awards.
What would usually be a 100 yard playing field, now features a unique stage, eight sections of floor seating, and a VIP section. The seating chart also includes four levels of raised seating surrounding these three areas.
How close can you get to your favorite celebrities?
Nominated artists and celebrity guests will be seated in the eight floor sections, located directly in front of the stage, for easy access. Reserved seating for fans is available in these sections, but will cost upwards of $1,500.
There are technically three different stages for the event, each located on the northeast end of the stadium. Floor sections 1-5 will have the closest views of the performances, but ticket holders will pay over $2,000 just to sit in the front half of this area.
Behind the floor sections, located on the southwest end of the stadium, there is a VIP SRO section. SRO stands for standing room only, which means ticket holders for this area will want to arrive early to get a good viewing spot. Ticket prices here start around $290, offering an affordable option on the floor.
Fans looking for lower-priced tickets will want a seat in one of the four raised levels of reserved seating. In sections located furthest from the stage, tickets are as low as $165, while tickets in side sections nearest the stage may be over $1,000.
Fans will want to avoid sections located near the side or back of the stage, as their views may be obstructed or performances may face the opposite direction. This includes seats in sections 101-103, 143-150, 201-204, 241-250, 301-305, 341-350, 401-408 and 447-450.
The show will begin at 7:00PM (CT) and fans are expected to be seated at 6:30PM. Doors to the stadium will open at 3:00PM and fans are invited to watch the arrival of celebrities on the red carpet on the Cowboys' famous Diamond Visions Screen.
