RYS Expert Reviews
Plaza Level
(2026 Review) -
Best Mid-Priced Option: Strong balance between price and view quality
Large Sections (P1–P7): Up to 26 rows per section (A–Z)
Front vs Back Matters: Front rows offer significantly better sightlines
Moderate Distance: Ranges from ~25 to 50 rows from the stage
Elevation Helps Views: Better sightlines than flatter front sections
Who Should Sit Here
Plaza Level seats are ideal for fans looking for a middle-ground option — better views than budget sections without the premium price tag of Orchestra or Box Seats. This area works well for those who want a clear view of the stage while staying within a reasonable budget.
Plaza Level Location & Layout
The Plaza Level at Starlight Theatre includes Sections P1–P7, located just behind the Orchestra and Box seating areas.
These are some of the largest sections in the venue, with each section containing up to 26 rows of seating, labeled from Row A (front) to Row Z (back). Because of their size, the experience can vary significantly depending on where you sit within the section.
The front rows of the Plaza Level are positioned roughly 25 rows from the stage, while the back rows can be closer to 50 rows away.
Views from Plaza Level
Views from the Plaza Level are generally solid, but row selection is extremely important.
Seats closer to the front of each section offer a much clearer and more immersive view of the stage. As you move farther back, the increased distance combined with other fans seated in front can impact sightlines.
The sections do have some elevation, which helps improve visibility compared to flatter seating areas, but this advantage is most noticeable in the front half of the section.
Front vs Back Strategy
When choosing seats in the Plaza Level, the biggest decision is whether to prioritize price or view quality.
While seats in the back rows may come at a discount, the trade-off in visibility can be noticeable. For most fans, it is worth targeting seats closer to the front (Rows A–M), where the viewing experience is significantly better and less likely to be impacted by other guests.
