Best Seats For a Concert at Canadian Tire Centre
The most common seating layout at Canadian Tire Centre for concerts is an end-stage setup with the stage located near sections Section 109, Section 110 and Section 111. For many concerts there are also slight variations to the layout, which may include General Admission seats, fan pits and B-stages.
On the Floor: Sections Floor A, Floor B and Floor C are Floor Seats, which offer some of the closest views of the performers. For many concerts, floor sections are added or removed. These performer-specific adjustments may alter the floor layout and the views from each floor section.
To the Side of the Stage: For close views of the stage with a little bit of elevation, consider seats to the side of the stage in Section 106, Section 107 and Section 115. The view is not head-on like on the floor, but many of the seats are closer to the stage, provide better elevation and are actual stadium seats.
Head-on to the Stage: Seats directly across from the stage, like those in Section 101, Section 102, Section 120 and Section 201 provide the most comfortable looks of the performance.
Even upper level sections offer unobstructed sitelines. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to see as much detail from these seats as you would if you sat closer to the stage.
Consider the Following When Buying Concert Tickets
Seats behind the stage are occassionally sold: Unless your main objective is to just get in the building, you'll want to completely avoid anything behind the stage - like those in/near or above sections Section 109, Section 110, Section 111 and Section 112. It's unlikely the performer will turn around to salute you - and you're more likely to be completely blocked out from seeing the show.
If you're on the shorter side (or bringing kids), consider floor seats only in the first few rows: The most common complaint amongst floor ticketholders is that they can't see the stage because of taller people in front of them. As an alternative, consider side sections near the stage that will still have you close and high enough to see.
Lower level side sections are not created equal: While the side sections closest to the stage are top-notch, side sections farther from the stage may leave you with a cramp in your neck. Sections 104 and 118 are not well-angled towards the stage - leaving you to turn your head for an ideal view. Instead, consider head-on sections in the lower level or even close side seats in the upper level like 309 and 321.

During a traditional end stage show, you can find some of the best seats in the house in Sections 107 and 115, keeping you close to the stage while still having a permanent seat with elevation above floor level. Sections 106 and 116 are excellent options as well, but are the very best for performances which feature a stage in the center of the floor.
Sections 108 and 114 offer a good opportunity to be close to the performance during an end stage show, however getting the right seat numbers is important to avoid being too far beyond the front of the stage. Opt for the lower numbered seats in Section 108 (seat 1 typically is on the right aisle), or the higher numbered seats in Section 114 (seat 12 is most commonly on the left aisle) to avoid the poorest viewing angles for an end stage performance.
Sections 104-105 and 117-118 are closer to the action than corner or end sections in a traditional stage configuration, however as these seats primarily face straight ahead you will be left with a significant head turn to the stage when seated.
100 Level Behind the Net (Hockey) Seating
End sections on the lower level give fans a chance to be their very own goal judge. These seats will give you some of the best views of the near goal - though the opposite net will be tough to see in the lowest rows. The Senators shoot twice towards Sections 110-112. These sections have roughly 18 rows of seating with row A closest to the ice.
100 Level Center (Hockey) Seating
The best seats at the Canadian Tire Centre are located at center ice in Sections 105-107 and 115-117. The traditional side to side viewing angles are highly sought after, and for the best positioning we recommend sitting in the upper half of the sections (Rows K and higher) for an ideal seating height to follow all the action.
Senators fans can sit beside the Sens bench in the higher numbered seats of Rows A and B in Section 105, or directly behind the bench in Seats 13-18 in Section 105 Row C and Seats 1-8 in Section 106 Row C.
If you prefer to be closer to the visiting team, the lower numbered seats in Section 107 Rows A and B are beside the visitors bench, while Seats 1-6 in Section 107 Row C and Seats 10-18 in Section 106 Row C are behind the visitors bench.
100 Level Corner (Hockey) Seating
During a power play, lower level corner seats are among the best seats to sit in. These seats offer some of the best views of action inside the blue line.
Sens supporters will want to find themselves in either Sections 113-114 or 108-109 as these are closest to the net where the Senators attack during the 1st and 3rd periods.
Most 100 Level Corner sections run from Row A at the front and end at Row R in back, however Section 109 is slightly larger with Rows 1-3 located just behind Row R. The best viewing height for seeing over the boards will be found in Rows K and higher.
200 Level Behind the Net (Hockey) Seating
The best 200 level seats behind the net are found in Sections 213-217 where the Senators shoot twice (though visiting fans will want to sit on the opposite side). Most sections here contains six lettered rows of seating with Row A closest to the ice and Row F closest to the concourse entrance.
200 Level Center (Hockey) Seating
Although the seats just below on the 100 level offer club amenities, these seats have some significant advantages. First, they offer great elevation for seeing the entire ice. And second, with just six rows in each section, it's a breeze to get to the concourse and back without missing much of the action.
200 Level Corner (Hockey) Seating
The 200 level corner seats at the Canadian Tire Centre are some of the best 200 level corner seats in any hockey arena. Corner seats provide a fantastic angle to the ice surface and are especially good for watching plays in the near zone.
These seats are located at a great height (not too high, not too low) to see everything that's going on. They also contain just six rows per section, leaving you with very few stairs to walk.
300 Level Behind the Net (Hockey) Seating
Like adjacent sections on the 300 level, sections behind each net contain roughly 18 rows of seating with Row A being the first row. The Senators shoot twice towards 313-317, making these a preferred option among Sens fans. Aim for a lower row (A-F) for the best views and fewer stairs.
300 Level Center (Hockey) Seating
Some of the best views at the Canadian Tire Centre are in Rows A-F of Sections 307-309 and 321-323. These seats offer an incredible view of the ice for beginner and seasoned hockey fans. The center ice view makes following the action easy, and the elevation is low enough such that the puck doesn't get lost too easily. Sitting higher than row F still affords a very good view, but the puck will get increasingly smaller.
300 Level Corner (Hockey) Seating
Corner seats on the upper level may be among the best values at the Canadian Tire Centre. Seasoned fans will find the view in the lower rows very good, though beginner fans may have trouble following the puck. Each section contains roughly 18 rows of seating with Row A closest to the front of the section and Row B closest to the concourse tunnel. For fewer stairs, stick with seats in rows A-F.
