Recommended Seats For End-Stage Setups

Head-on to the Stage: Seats directly across from the stage, like those in 1, 2, 3 and 8 provide the most comfortable looks of the performance. Even upper level sections offer unobstructed sitelines. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to see as much detail from these seats as you would if you sat closer to the stage.

Lawn Seats

  • Lawn Seats - The lawn is an un-covered open seating area. Because there are a lot of poles holding up the roof and balcony, lawn ticketholders are encouraged to ar...

Shaded & Covered Seating

More than half of all seats at Saratoga Performing Arts Center offer some type of shade or cover. Below is a sample of seats that are at least partially covered or shaded at different times of the day. To search for tickets or to find out if your seats are protected from the sun or rain, follow the link for the seat finder.

  • Seats in General Admission Pit are covered
  • Rows A and above in Section 1 are covered
  • Rows A and above in Section 5 are covered
  • Rows B and above in Section 17 are covered
  • Rows A and above in Section 20 are covered

Other Popular Seating Areas

Balcony Middle Seating

The balcony hangs over the third level of the orchestra, making the middle balcony seats some of the finest in the venue. Views in rows F and below are unobstructed and have a head-on view of the stage.

Balcony Side Seating

Side sections in the balcony offer a good view of the stage the lower and closer to center you are. Views start to deteriorate on the extreme sides and Rows G and higher may have a slight obstruction from a pole.

Orchestra Side Seating

When choosing seating on the side of the Orchestra, avoid Rows JJ and higher as the roof support poles begin at that row. Most seats will have an unobstructed view, but the ones that don't will be uncomfortable.
