RYS Expert Reviews

Corner

- For the fans who don't want to push the budget for a sideline seat, corner sections offer a good alternative. The views will be excellent for plays at the near endzone, but it will get more difficult as the ball moves to the opposite side of the field. Fans in the north endzone have a slight advantage thanks to a better viewing angle to the videoboard located above the south endzone. Student seating occupies the entire southeast corner (Sections E38-E42), making it a loud and more energetic atmosphere on gameday. Visiting team seating is located just across the field in Section W7, and there is also a designated area at the front of these sections for the away team student band.

Endzone

(2026 Review) - North & South Options: Endzone seating splits into the North Endzone and the fully re-constructed South Endzone, with similar views but very different experiences.  Cheapest Seats: North Endzone sections 19-29, known as the Redzone, are the most affordable Utah football tickets — all bleachers on the sunny side.  Premium South Side: The South Endzone offers Loges, Suites, and Ledge Seats just above field level.  Best for Shade: South Endzone sections S47-S51 are chairback seats and among the best shaded spots in the stadium.  Who Should Sit Here  The endzone at Rice-Eccles Stadium covers a wide range of fans. Budget-minded fans who want to be part of the action should head to the North Endzone Redzone bleachers, while those wanting more comfort — including premium and shaded seating — will find it in the re-constructed South Endzone. It's a flexible area with something for casual fans and those looking to upgrade alike.  Endzone Seating Details  Endzone seating is split between the North and South ends of the field. The North Endzone spans sections 19-29 (the Redzone) and is all bleacher seating. The South Endzone has premium options — Loges, Suites, and Ledge Seats — located just above field level, with sections S43-S51 and S2-S5 above them. Chairback seats are found in sections S47-S51.  Views from the Endzone  Both endzones offer similar views of the field from behind the goal line. The North Endzone sits on the sunny side of the field, while the South Endzone's upper sections (S47-S51) are one of the best places to find shade at the stadium.  Perks & Extras  South Endzone Premium: Loges, Suites, and Ledge Seats are available just above field level.  Chairbacks: Sections S47-S51 feature chairback seats with backs and shade.  Sun & Shade  Sun exposure is a real difference-maker here. The North Endzone bleachers get full sun, so if you'd rather stay cool, aim for the shaded chairback seats in South Endzone sections S47-S51.
