Ravinia Pavilion Seating

Features & Amenities

Pavilion tickets are the only option with a clear view to the stage for a show at Ravinia. There are three main reserved sections: Left, Right, and Center. The direction represents the location of the section in relation to the stage.

Each of the Left, Right, and Center sections are divided into an upper and lower portion. Single-lettered rows A-Z are closest to the stage followed by double-lettered rows AA-OO.

For the best pavilion experience, check out the box seating option in the center of the venue.

Pavilion Views

The views are excellent from any of the pavilion seats. For the absolute best, we recommend searching for Center tickets in the single-lettered rows.

More Seating Notes

Besides being able to see the stage, another huge benefit of pavilion seats is that they are protected and under cover from the roof.

It is important to note that food and beverage are not permitted within the pavilion seating area. However, pavilion ticket holders will have access to the expansive lawn, and will be allowed to bring food and drink into the venue.

"Head On View"

There are not many bad pavilion seats at Ravinia. What I liked most about these seats is that they were head on to the stage. Most people don't stand for the concerts in the pavilion, so if you're a dancer be aware of this.

Was much closer than I thought it was going to be. You could look the performers in the eyes it was incredible. I am used to the Ravinia lawn experience where you don't see anything. Pavilion was great as well! Would recommend trying for at least one show a summer.

On a hot sticky night there is not much air flow in the pavilion. They should really install some big fan. Anyway, these seats had a great view of the stage. Sound is very good as well.
