Features & Amenities

  • Lower Bowl Infield Seating: Located in Sections 109–124 on the lowest seating tier at PNC Park.
  • Excellent Infield Views: Positioned between the bases with a comfortable height to follow the action.

  • Great Upper-Row Coverage: Back rows—especially double-letter rows—offer some of the best protection from sun and rain.

  • Convenient Concourse Access: Higher rows are located closer to entry tunnels and the main concourse.

Who Should Sit Here

Box Level seating is ideal for fans who want excellent infield views without paying premium club prices. These sections strike a great balance between proximity and elevation, making them a strong choice for fans who want a clear look at the entire field while still sitting close to the action.

Location & Seating Details

Box Level seats are located in Sections 109 through 124, forming the lowest tier of seating at PNC Park along the infield.

Within these sections, there are two commonly referenced seating areas:

  • Lower Infield Box (Rows A–Q): These seats are closer to the field and offer a more immersive perspective of the game.

  • Home Plate / Infield Box (Rows R and higher): Slightly elevated rows that provide a better overall view of the field.

Because of the Home Plate Club and Field Level seating located directly in front, the first rows of these sections do not extend all the way to the playing field.

Infield Box Views

Box Level seats offer excellent sightlines between the corner bases, giving fans a clear look at both the infield action and the outfield. The slightly elevated height compared to field-level seating makes it easier to follow the full play as it develops.

Seats in the higher rows can also provide a more comfortable viewing angle while still feeling close to the field.

Sections 114, 115, 117, and 119 are among the widest sections in this area, meaning they contain more seats per row. However, these sections include an additional aisle running through the middle, which helps improve access to the upper rows.

Things to Know

  • Excellent Overhead Coverage: The back rows—especially the double-letter rows—offer some of the best protection from sun and rain in this area of the ballpark.

  • Closer to Concourse: Higher rows sit near the entry tunnels, making trips to concessions and restrooms quick and convenient.

  • Front Rows Not Field-Level: Due to the Home Plate Club and Field Level seating located below, the front rows of these sections sit slightly elevated above the field rather than directly on it.

Note: These seats are highlighted on the map

We liked how close they were to the dugout and field. Fairly roomy and not a long walk to food and restrooms. Nice park.
