Supporters Section at PayPal Park

• Most Energetic Area in the Stadium: Constant chanting, singing, and standing.

• General Admission Seating: First-come, first-served terrace sections.

• Two Designated Ends of the Pitch: Supporters occupy both the North and South sides.

• Home of the Ultras & Seismic Union: Official supporter groups lead the atmosphere

Who Should Sit Here?

The Supporters Section is ideal for passionate fans attending San Jose Earthquakes matches who want to be part of the loudest and most active area at PayPal Park. It’s best suited for those who enjoy chanting, waving flags, and standing throughout the game.

It is not recommended for fans seeking a quiet or traditional seated viewing experience.

Supporters Section Location

The Supporters Section at PayPal Park occupies both ends of the stadium behind the goals.

• South Supporters Terrace (Sections 117–118): General admission sections located behind the South goal. This area is home to the San Jose Ultras.

• North Supporters Terrace: General admission area on the opposite end of the pitch, occupied by the Seismic Union supporter group.

Both terraces are standing-room dominant and operate as GA areas.

Views from the Supporters Section

From behind the goals, fans enjoy a direct line of sight toward the length of the pitch. While this angle is not ideal for tracking offside calls or midfield spacing, it creates an immersive experience for goal celebrations and attacking play.

Because these sections are general admission terraces, fans can choose their positioning upon arrival.
