Features & Amenities

While the intimacy of Oracle/Oakland Arena provides excellent seats for a concert all throughout the venue, Floor Seats are still one of the most popular choices for fans hoping to get close to the stage. The most common floor setup includes six floor sections labeled A-F.

When the floor is laid out in its most common setup, sections A-C are considered the Front Floor and D-F are known as Rear Floor. Front Floor sections typically include 26 rows of seats with Row 1 always located closest to the stage. Meanwhile, rear floor sections typically include 16 rows, although section E will sometimes be shortened or removed entirely to make room for the sound mixer.

Seat numbers are always changing from show-to-show, but there are some general rules that apply to most shows. First, seat 1 is always on the right aisle when looking at the stage from the floor. For example, in Floor section A, seat 1 is closer to center stage and the most desirable seat in the section. Most often, Floor B and E will have 16 seats, while all other sections will have 13-14 seats.

Other Floor Setups

An increasing number of concerts at Oakland Arena have a custom arrangement of Floor sections. The most common adjustment includes the addition of one or more General Admission (GA) sections.

GA sections are un-reserved areas of the Floor where ticketholders stand and watch the show. Instead of paying top dollar for a front row seat, all you have to do with some GA tickets is arrive early to be right up against the stage.

The most common GA sections include GA Floor (typically takes up the entire Floor) and GA Pit (usually smaller sections).

Fan Reviews

Great views I saw the Jonas brothers concert and I got amazing views from all ends, especially when they walked down the aisle, I was almost a foot away from them. Very close! Loud bass, great sound and lights. Food is overpriced but what do you expect for a concert I guess. Nachos were $10 and they were worse than lunchables but it was something to snack on so it’s fine. Security is thorough, and parking is $40.
