RYS Expert Reviews

400 Level

(2026 Review) - Highest Level: The 400 Level is the top tier at Northwest Stadium and the best place to find cheap tickets for Commanders games and other events.  Best Seats: Sideline sections offer the strongest views on this level.  Best Values: Corner sections are the value picks (smaller, fewer stairs, and good angles).  Row Matters: Sideline sections have up to 30 rows, and there's a big difference between lower and upper rows — check your row before buying.  Standing Room: Dedicated Standing Room Only sections sit at the top of the endzones for guests with SRO tickets.  Who Should Sit Here  The 400 Level at Northwest Stadium is built for budget-minded fans who want to be in the building without paying for lower-level seats. If getting the cheapest ticket matters more than being close to the action, this is your level.  400 Level Seating Details  The 400 Level is the highest seating tier in the stadium. Seats are arranged into sideline, corner, and endzone sections. Sideline sections run up to 30 rows deep, while corner and endzone sections are noticeably smaller with fewer stairs to climb. At the very top of the endzone sections you'll find the Standing Room Only sections, reserved for SRO ticket holders.  Views from the 400 Level  Sideline sections have the best views on the level, but the difference between rows is significant. Lower rows offer better sightlines and an easier walk to the concourse, while upper rows sit well back. Corner sections deliver good angles toward midfield, and endzone sections have good views of the videoboards.  Good to Know  For the best mix of price and view, target the lower rows of a sideline section or a corner section. It is the perfect balance tol save money, climb fewer stairs, and still get a solid angle on the field.

Seating Notes

  • For football games, desirable view from near midfield

Fan Reviews

  • Dallas Cowboys at Washington Commanders - Jan 8, 2023 — These seats offered a nice view of the 50 yard line and right. There is a clear wall to the front and left. The rails that are attached to the clear wall do restrict the view of the left of the 50. In this picture I was standing up and you can see a partial view of the rail and wall. When I sat down it was difficult to see because it falls directly in view of the field. We had seats 20 (aisle) and 19. The aisle seat view was more restricted than seat 19.

  • 40 Yardline Upper Deck — The 400 level just seems so high up at Fedex Field. Even Row 7 seems a mile away from the field. Fortunately these are at the 40 so you get to see most of the action pretty well. The railing and glass annoyingly block part of the field on the right, but you can always lean or sway to get around them.

Rows 1-8 have fewer seats than higher rows, which makes getting in and out of the seats a little easier.

  • Beyonce - Jul 4, 2025 — Amazing concert! Awesome seats! But that walk..whew! You can still see the stage and the big screen.
