Open Grassy Area: A massive grass berm at Morton Amphitheater designed with a steep rake for clear sightlines over the pavilion.  Laid Back & Relaxed Atmosphere: The primary social hub of Morton Amphitheater, offering plenty of space for groups to spread out.  General Admission on Blankets: Seating is first-come, first-served; personal blankets are encouraged, while outside chairs are prohibited.  Separate "Covered Lawn" Tier: Unique roof-protected lawn wings at Morton Amphitheater exist but require a specific ticket type for entry.  Who Should Sit Here  The GA Lawn at Morton Amphitheater is a great option for fans who value flexibility and affordability over having a reserved seat. It’s especially ideal for large groups who want to stick together without worrying about specific row and seat assignments. While it’s farther from the stage, it offers a laid-back, budget-friendly concert experience.  Lawn & Covered Lawn Location  The lawn at Morton Amphitheater is positioned at the rear of the venue, elevated above the 300-level bleachers. It is divided into three distinct zones based on canopy coverage:  Main Lawn (Open Air): This is the large, central grass area. It is entirely uncovered and open to the elements.  Covered Lawn Left (Above Sections 311–313): Located directly above the far-left bleacher sections. This wing of the lawn is tucked under the 100,000-square-foot stadium canopy at Morton Amphitheater.  Covered Lawn Right (Above Sections 301–303): Located above the far-right bleacher sections, providing a mirrored roof-protected experience on the opposite side.  Ticketing Note: Access to the side wings is strictly controlled. You must have a specific "Covered Lawn" ticket to enter these shaded areas. A standard GA Lawn ticket at Morton Amphitheater only grants access to the central uncovered berm.  Lawn Views  Because the lawn at Morton Amphitheater stretches across the back of the venue, your view will largely depend on where you choose to set up. Arriving early is key if you want a spot closer to the front of the lawn and centered with the stage. The two covered lawn areas offer angled views of the performance, giving fans the benefit of shade and weather protection in exchange for a less centered perspective.  Things to Know  Concession Village: Located immediately behind the lawn at Morton Amphitheater, featuring local Kansas City BBQ vendors and "speed bars" for quick service.  Chair Policy: Outside chairs of any kind are prohibited. To keep sightlines clear, only the venue’s official low-profile rental chairs are permitted on the grass.  Rental Stations: Chair rental stands are located at the transitions between the 300-level and the lawn.  Blankets: Blankets are highly recommended for the main berm, but be aware that in the Covered Lawn sections, space is more limited and fills up quickly.
