Baseline sections F and L are some of the most popular tickets spots at a Vandy game. While the views from these sections are still somewhat obstructed by the baskets, these seats are as close as you can get to the players.
When looking at the stadium seating chart, the player benches are in front of the left side of each section. To sit behind the Vandy players, choose high-number seats in Section L. To site behind the visitor players, choose low-number seats in Section K.
All seats in these two sections have a chair with a back.
For a unique experience at a Vanderbilt game, consider the sideline sections closest to the court. Labeled A-E on the east side and G-K on the west side, the front rows of these sections are sunken below the court.
Unlike at traditional stadiums, the player benches are not on the sideline. Instead, you\'ll enjoy an unobstructed view towards the court from one of the lowest perspectives in all of basketball.
Sections G-K are typically reserved for Vanderbilt students, and the cheerleaders and band often perform on the floor in front of these sections. On the other side of the court, sections A-E are chairback seating and are often occupied by season ticketholders.
Some of the finest views at Memorial Gymnasium are in the lower rows of sections 2A-2E and 2G-2K. These sections are located at the perfect height for seeing both ends of the court comfortably. For the best sitelines, consider rows 7 and below in any of these sections.
When looking at tickets in the higher rows (8 and above), be aware of the overhang that severely limits your sitelines. You\'ll be able to see the entire court, but you won\'t be able to see the scoreboard and your view of the court will be tunneled. It\'s worth a few extra bucks to get the lowest row possible.
Owing to their sideline location, chairback seating and desirable sitelines, rows 1-5 of sections 2B-2D might be the best seats at Memorial Gym.
If you\'re looking for budget tickets to a Vanderbilt basketball game, first consider the lower rows of sections 3A-3E. These seats offer fans a low ticket price, sideline view and chairback seating.
On the other side of the court, sections 3G-3K offer the same sideline view, but all seating is on benches. Among these seats, row 10 might be your best option. Many of these bench seats are up against the wall for some back support - and row 10 is located at the section tunnel.
For fans seated in the higher rows (a walkway is located behind row 1), the views do start to get a bit long. As with sections on level 2, it\'s worth the extra money to buy the lowest row possible.
