RYS Expert Reviews
Lower Arena
- Numbered rows in sections 1-18 at the Joyce Center are known as Lower Arena seats. These are among the best seats for Notre Dame basketball. Lower Arena rows start roughly ten rows from the court. Along the sidelines and behind the baskets, these rows are a continuation of the Platform Seats. These sections are well-angled towards the court, so expect a comfortable siteline. Sections 1 and 10 are located at center court, while sections 2 and 18 are behind the player benches.
Platform Seats
- On the Notre Dame basketball seating chart, seats closest to the court are known as Platform Seats. These are lettered rows in the sections that surround the court on the lower level. To many, these are the best seats at the Joyce Center. Ticketholders will be within ten rows of the court and enjoy one of the best views in the stadium. The biggest complaint among these seats is that there is not enough elevation. To many, this is a small price to pay for being so close to the floor.
Seating and Ticket Q&A
Where is the visitors section at the Joyce Center?
After speaking with the Notre Dame box office, we confirmed that there are no fully designated sections for the visiting team fans. They do however reserve the seats in the first rows of Section 2 (directly behind the visiting team bench) for the visiting team ticket allotment at each game at the Joyce Center. Therefore, we recommend seats in Section 2 as your best option for being with your fellow visiting team fans.
