An overhang above the west stands covers seats in rows 46 and higher.
Less than 10% of seats at Jordan-Hare Stadium offer some type of shade or cover. Below is a sample of seats that are at least partially covered or shaded at different times of the day. To search for tickets or to find out if your seats are protected from the sun or rain, follow the link for the seat finder.
The Club Level includes the North, South, and Nelson Club seating. Club seats are at an ideal height to see everything going on on the field. In addition, these seats are covered by the overhang from the Upper Deck and feature the only chairback seating found at Jordan Hare Stadium. Fans will also enjoy unlimited food and non-alcoholic drinks, along with access to the Club Lounge.
Corner Seats
The only corner seats at JHS are located on the lower level. While some of these sections reach as high as Row 55, a walkway separates the lower and upper portion at Row 27/28.
Though not thought of as great seating area, many corner seats do offer a very good experience. The views from Rows 30-45 are high enough to see the whole field and nicely focused on the bulk of the action at midfield. In particular, these rows in Sections 44-46 are generally less sunny in the late afternoon and have a good view of the videoboard above the south endzone.
East Lower Deck Seating
The East Lower Deck includes Sections 24-34 on the sunny side of Jordan Hare Stadium. The visiting team sideline is located on this side of the field. In addition, Auburn student seating is found in Sections 24-27 and Rows 28 and above in Section 28.
Like in the west lower deck, the walkway separating the upper and lower portions of each section is behind Row 27. You'll want to avoid Rows 28-30 or run the risk of being constantly distracted by fans heading in and out of their seats.
Given the proximity to Auburn students, fans on this side of the field often find themselves standing for large portions of the game.
East Upper Deck Seating
The East Upper Deck contains the most sun-drenched seats at JHS. These seats face west, which makes the sunscreen a necessity -- even on a cold day.
Each section contains 36 rows with the highest rows coming with some of the longest walks in the stadium (the section entrances are located at row 3). Those with mobility issues or bouts with vertigo will be better off in the lowest row possible.
All upper deck seating is bench-style without chairbacks.
Endzone Seating
Endzone seating is located on the north and south sides of Jordan-Hare Stadium. While the overall experience is similar on each side, there are some differences between the two.
The North Endzone is an ideal place to watch the game and keep an eye on all the replays since it is across from videoboard above the South Endzone. Each section includes 63 rows of seating and the entrance to each section is located at Row 28. Fans who do not wish to climb up and down a lot of stairs are encouraged to buy tickets close to Row 28 to minimize the walk to restrooms and concessions.
With the HD Videoboard behind the south stands, you'll have to turn around to see highlights if you're in Sections 15-20.
Sections 18-20 and Rows 1-27 in Section 17 are designated as Auburn student seating. The first row in Sections 15 and 20 is 9, while all other Sections have 63 rows, labeled 1-63.
West Lower Deck Seating
The West Lower Deck at Jordan Hare Stadium includes seating behind the Auburn sideline. Sections 5-7 are closest to midfield, while Sections 1 and 11 are in line with the endzones.
Each section has 57 rows of seating, with the walkway behind row 27 splitting the sections into upper and lower portions. Because the walkway sees a bit of traffic, you'll want to avoid being in the first few rows behind it. Instead, choose Rows 20-25 before the walkway or 35-45 after it. These rows will give you good elevation for seeing the field, while keeping you clear of distractions.
Though none of these sections are complete covered by the upper deck overhang, these seats are among the first to get shade during late afternoon games. And rows 46 and above will be covered no matter the time of day.
West Upper Deck Seating
The West Upper Deck will have the sun behind it during late afternoon games. Each section has 36 rows of seating and the entrance to each section is located at Row 3. The first 10 rows in Sections 53-57 provide some of the best views of the whole field, while being in Sections 61 and 62 will make it difficult to see the videoboard in the South endzone.
If you have difficulty walking stairs, or just prefer not to, keep in mind that the upper deck is fairly steep and the aisles relatively narrow. Walking up to your seats in Row 35 (all the way from Row 3) may be a daunting experience. It's worth spending the extra money for a lower row to avoid the steps.
