The most common seating layout at Greensboro Coliseum for concerts is an end-stage setup with the stage located near sections Section 101, Section 102 and Section 103. For many concerts there are also slight variations to the layout, which may include General Admission seats, fan pits and B-stages.
Floor seats - like those in Floor C - are among the most sought-after tickets
On the Floor: Sections Floor A, Floor B and Floor C are Floor Seats, which offer some of the closest views of the performers. For many concerts, floor sections are added or removed. These performer-specific adjustments may alter the floor layout and the views from each floor section.
To the Side of the Stage: For close views of the stage with a little bit of elevation, consider seats to the side of the stage in Section 108, Section 109 and Section 125. The view is not head-on like on the floor, but many of the seats are closer to the stage, provide better elevation and are actual stadium seats.
Section 221 offers a comfortable head-on view for end-stage shows
Head-on to the Stage: Seats directly across from the stage, like those in Section 116, Section 117, Section 118 and Section 219 provide the most comfortable looks of the performance.
Even upper level sections offer unobstructed sitelines. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to see as much detail from these seats as you would if you sat closer to the stage.
Consider the Following When Buying Concert Tickets
Seats behind the stage are occassionally sold: Unless your main objective is to just get in the building, you'll want to completely avoid anything behind the stage - like those in/near or above sections Section 101, Section 102, Section 103 and Section 104. It's unlikely the performer will turn around to salute you - and you're more likely to be completely blocked out from seeing the show.
If you're on the shorter side (or bringing kids), consider floor seats only in the first few rows: The most common complaint amongst floor ticketholders is that they can't see the stage because of taller people in front of them. As an alternative, consider side sections near the stage that will still have you close and high enough to see.
Lower level side sections are not created equal: While the side sections closest to the stage are top-notch, side sections farther from the stage may leave you with a cramp in your neck. Sections 112 and 122 are not well-angled towards the stage - leaving you to turn your head for an ideal view. Instead, consider head-on sections in the lower level or even close side seats in the upper level like 210 and 232.

Located in the middle of the court along each sideline, the lower level center sections at Greensboro Coliseum provide the best possible view of the game. With suites located in the back of each section, there's plenty of lower level options, all located near the center of the court.
Rows are numbered A-F, followed by AA-VV. There's about 14 seats in each row.
For a basketball game, you can't beat sitting in these sections to have a great view of each side of the action. If you're looking to buy tickets to an upcoming game at Greensboro Coliseum, buy tickets in the lower level center sections with confidence.
Lower Level Corner (Basketball) Seating
Located between the baseline and sideline sections, the lower level corner sections provide a decent view of a basketball game at Greensboro Coliseum. Seats long the sideline are definitely preferable, but lower level corner seats provide a good view of the action.
Note that the floor area at the historic Greensboro Coliseum is large enough to host a variety of events. Therefore, the seats in the lower level corner are not located directly on the court. Rather, they're significantly far away in the corner.
Regardless, sitting in the corner sections isn't a bad option. With suites located in each section and close proximity to refreshments and restrooms in the lower level concourse, sitting in the lower level corner is a good choice for a basketball game.
Lower Level End (Basketball) Seating
Located behind the basket on each side of the court, the lower level end sections at Greensboro Coliseum provide a view of the action from behind each baseline.
Note that the floor level at the Coliseum is large enough to accomodate events like hockey and concerts, and therefore the lower level end sections will not be located directly on the court. They're much further away, as there's some space between the front row and the court. There may be temporary seats or a VIP section taking up this space at events.
However, sitting in the lower level end seats is still a good option if you want to be on the same level as the action. With several different sections to choose from, take a look at our seat views and decide which seat works best for you.
Upper Level Corner (Basketball) Seating
Located between the sideline and baseline sections of the court, the upper level corner sections at Greensboro Coliseum provide a decent view of the game. Similar to the lower level corners, the upper level corners do feel a bit further removed from the game than expected.
If you're looking to attend a major event like the NCAA or ACC Tournament, then you can't go wrong with the upper level corner sections. The seats are comfortable, and the perspective from the sections isn't too steep or awkward. The rows start at A and go all the way up to BBB, and the lower rows are definitely preferable. If you're looking for upper level seats, the corners are a good option.
Upper Level End (Basketball) Seating
Located along the baseline of each side of the basketball court, the upper level end sections consist of sections 204-201, 240-238, and 218-224. Note that sections 201 and 221 may be unavailable, as these are part of an exclusive club section and are only open for select events.
If you're looking to attend a big event like the NCAA or ACC tournament, upper level end seats are a good choice. We recommend sitting towards the corners, as the baskets get in the way less in the corners than they do directly in the back.
We recommend sitting in the first few rows in these sections, as they have an ideal view of the action. The rows go all the way up to row BBB, but even in the upper rows, the historic Greensboro Coliseum provides a decent viewing experience. Upper level end seats are the 'cheap seats', but are still a fun place to watch a basketball game.
Upper Level Side (Basketball) Seating
Located on the upper level along the sidelines, the upper level side sections at Greensboro Coliseum provide an above-average, elevated view of the game.
You'll be located near the middle of the court, so it's easy to catch the action on both sides. You'll have easy access to the 200 level concourse, which has its own set of restrooms and amenities. If you're looking for a perfect view of the game at an affordable price point, buy upper level side sections with confidence. The perspective from these seats is comfortable and doesn't feel too steep or far away from the action.
