Best Seats For a Concert at Gila River Arena
The most common seating layout at Gila River Arena for concerts is an end-stage setup with the stage located near sections Section 103, Section 104 and Section 105. For many concerts there are also slight variations to the layout, which may include General Admission seats, fan pits and B-stages.
On the Floor: Sections Floor A, Floor B, Floor C and Floor D are Floor Seats, which offer some of the closest views of the performers. For many concerts, floor sections are added or removed. These performer-specific adjustments may alter the floor layout and the views from each floor section.
To the Side of the Stage: For close views of the stage with a little bit of elevation, consider seats to the side of the stage in Section 101, Section 102, Section 110 and Section 111. The view is not head-on like on the floor, but many of the seats are closer to the stage, provide better elevation and are actual stadium seats.
Head-on to the Stage: Seats directly across from the stage, like those in Section 117 and Section 223 provide the most comfortable looks of the performance. Even upper level sections offer unobstructed sitelines. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to see as much detail from these seats as you would if you sat closer to the stage.
Consider the Following When Buying Concert Tickets
Seats behind the stage are occassionally sold: Unless your main objective is to just get in the building, you'll want to completely avoid anything behind the stage - like those in/near or above sections Section 103, Section 104, Section 105 and Section 106. It's unlikely the performer will turn around to salute you - and you're more likely to be completely blocked out from seeing the show.
If you're on the shorter side (or bringing kids), consider floor seats only in the first few rows: The most common complaint amongst floor ticketholders is that they can't see the stage because of taller people in front of them. As an alternative, consider side sections near the stage that will still have you close and high enough to see.
Lower level side sections are not created equal: While the side sections closest to the stage are top-notch, side sections farther from the stage may leave you with a cramp in your neck. Sections 121 and 113 are not well-angled towards the stage - leaving you to turn your head for an ideal view. Instead, consider head-on sections in the lower level or even close side seats in the upper level like Sections 202 and 214.
Floor Seats - For one of the best concert experiences at Gila River Arena, consider tickets directly on the Floor. This area is located on the same level as the sta...

Lower level corner seats provide fans with a good proximity to the ice surface, and a unique view of the game not often seen on television.
From near the goal lines, fans will appreciate the chance to see the side-to-side movement of the game, while maintaining the traditional end-to-end (goal-to-goal) perspective.
Lower Level Ends (Hockey) Seating
Sitting behind the net on the lower level allows fans to experience the game from the perspective of a goalie, and will be some of the first in the stadium to know when a puck makes its way into the back of the net.
Coyotes fans will want to find themselves in Sections 105-107, where they will be closer to the net where the home team shoots twice.
Upper Level Ends (Hockey) Seating
Sitting behind the nets on the upper seating tier is where you will find the furthest views for a Coyotes game. But given the distance from the ice, these seats can also be the best place to find a bargin for fans that just want to get in the door.
Behind the net sections have are the largest of the upper level seating sections as the front rows actually extend further towards the ice than the front rows in the upper level center and corner sections. With 17 lettered rows of seating and entry tunnels at the top of the sections, fans in the front rows will be left with the longest walks to and from the concourse.
Upper Level Sides (Hockey) Seating
Upper level center sections are among the best places for fans looking for a good value at a Coyotes game. Good positioning near center ice in sections 201-202, 214-217 and 229-230 allows you to enjoy the action at either end of the ice, while being on the upper seating tier helps keep ticket prices on the cheaper end of the spectrum.
These sections are also much smaller than sections behind the nets on the upper level, with no more than 11 lettered rows of seating in each (Row A is located at the front). For fans seeking an even easier way to get in and out, sections 204, 212, 219 and 227 are among the smallest in the arena with as few as 6 seats to a row. Sections 204 and 212 are ideal for Coyotes fans as the home team shoots twice at the near goal.
