Balcony Level

- If you sit in the Balcony Level at Frost Bank Center, you might not realize that this is one of the smaller arenas in the NBA. With up to 23 rows of seats in each section, the Balcony Level is simply massive. Best Places to Sit in the Balcony Level For Spurs games, this area is also known as the HEB Fan Zone Level. Between sections 214 and 218 guests will find a party area with a massive bar, attractions and most of the amenities and concessions on this level. If convenience is important to you, we recommend sitting close to this end of the stadium. Regardless of what section you're sitting in, we strongly recommend purchasing tickets in the lowest row possible. This is a steep upper level and the top rows are a good 20-row walk from the section tunnel. Once you finally reach your seats and catch your breath, you'll notice sub-par views in the upper half of each section. Even if it means sitting farther away from the center of the arena, purchase tickets in rows 8 and below for the best experience in the Balcony/HEB Fan Zone.

Fan Reviews

Great for legroom, but not for the view or air conditioning With just two seats in the row, I had great legroom from the seat 26 which was against the wall (seat 27 is on the aisle). But other than the good amount of space to stretch out my legs, there wasn't much else to be happy about. It was a long, steep walk to get up to Row 22 (second row from the top), and when once up there it felt very enclosed with the roof above and catwalk that hangs down just slightly in front of the seats.

My head was turned to the left to watch most of the game which gets uncomfortable after a while when looking so far down to the court. And perhaps it was just me, but the air conditioning seemed to not work very well all the way up here at the top of the 200 level. It was very hot and getting a cold beverage meant taking a long walk down the aisle to get to the concourse.

Odd railings running through the section For some reason section 221 has oddly placed u-shaped railings that are located at the part of the row where the seats bend from being pointed across the arena to being pointed more towards the center of the court. At six feet tall the railings didn't obstruct my view at all, but were distracting while watching the game.

Otherwise, the views were decent for being near the corner in the upper level. The entry tunnel was just a couple rows down, however it was a challenge just getting to the aisle with 20 seats in the bending row.
