Orchestra at Durham Performing Arts Center

The orchestra sections at Durham Performing Arts Center consist of sections 1-4.

Orchestra section 1 consists of the entire first few rows, specifically, rows 1-2 and A-D. With the closest possible view of the show, section 1 will have some of the best tickets in the venue. Orchestra section 1 also has their own side entrance on the side of the venue, so you won't have to walk past everyone to go get refreshments or stop in the bathroom. Note that it will be a long walk back to the concourse, though.

Orchestra sections 2-4 make up the rest of the floor level, stretching back to rows DD and EE. While the overhang from the grand terrace level may be visible, you can't go wrong with any seat in the orchestra sections. It's nice to be on the same level as the stage, and the recently opened Durham Performing Arts Center is full of phenomenal views.
